We'll see. A system that now relies on printing trillions of extra cash over and over because pretty much every country is bankrupt at the press of a computer button is unsustainable and will implode. Fiat is backed by nothing other than the computer it is generated from. A bank is allowed to create money to lend that never existed before. Ponzi.

Like I said anyway, take it or leave it if you have a strong plan and can control emotions there is life changing money to be made.

Fiat is backed by a nations assets, plus its ability to raise future tax revenue.

No I am saying I am acutely aware of them and I plan to use this one (which has one every 4 years) to my advantage. And if you follow the rule of not investing what you're not prepared to lose you cant lose. Tell me one financial/investment system that hasn't experienced a speculative bubble crash? The house market is currently one of the biggest speculative bubbles in history (after already popping as recently as 2008) and the FIAT currency system itself is going to explode in spectacular fashion, its the ultimate Ponzi scheme.

If FIAT is a ponzi scheme what do you think would happen if everyone who owned Bitcoin wanted to sell what they held for actual cash?

Don’t get me wrong whether it’s a ponzi or not it’s the mainstream system and is with us for years still. However any currency that is just infinitely getting created (and imposing debt on society) on a whim isn’t going to end well long term.

Ripple (XRP) has gone a bit mental, up 33% today. Any ideas why?

Bit mad, thought it would go into oblivion with all the legal stuff.

Maidsafe is at an All Time High and releasing on a new exchange today. They are also expecting Testnet to be released today.

Because it's Alt Season :rave:

In all honesty the chart was primed to see it go up and when XRP goes it goes hard. I got in on a long on it last Thursday and it's made me some serious $. The SEC stuff is highly likely to end up in a settlement and then watch it really fly.

there was some legal decision allowing holders to intervene on behalf of Ripple, this might be interpreted as positive. really it delays any decision.

Wait until Coin Base re-list it for another huge pump, and then if the court case gets settled.... then the institutional money will come in.... you have seen nothing yet

Does anyone else leave their coins on the exchanges? I use Binance but wanted to transfer to Exodus or Trust Wallet, but was put off by their fees. Nearly £30 to move my Bitcoin and almost £20 to move my Ethereum.

Why so high?

It should be relatively cheap to transfer BTC & ETH to a cold storage wallet like Ledger!

I do both. My (fun) trading account is pure exchange. My non-trading (i.e. long term) is wallet.

Large costs to move generally, so I keep on exchange until sizeable enough to move to wallet.

Comparable risk levels in both IMO

because when price is 58k or 2k, 0.0005 or 0.01 is still quite a lot
