The government can take full blame for what happens at these protests. I do not condone violence from protestors or the police but the government clearly knew what would happen when this bill was announced. They knew there would be protests so why not wait until the country had opened up again?
It doesn't take a genius to figure it out; Because they and the right wing press can now point the finger and say look at these animals, breaking social distancing and endangering lives and distract people form the real issue here, the heinous bill they are going to pass into law. Divide and rule.
And as shown on this thread, by the usual posters, the gammons have fallen for it again. Protestors are not the enemy here, our government is.

And the police do themselves no favours. Arresting legal observers is a very clear sign that the police do not want to be observed on these protests. They know full well they are being far too heavy handed.

You make me want to vomit.
Along with your chants of kill the Bill were you also joining in with the A.C.A.B chanting?
Feral vermin love an anti police jingle.

People like Mouldy and Baker are basically scared. A world where people stand up for what is right, even if that means breaking the law, terrifies them. If the government makes laws diminishing human rights, they will blindly follow. That world makes sense to them. Simple, easy to follow.
It’s why they are so easily manipulated and controlled. They’ll follow blindly. And when they see people that don’t, it doesn’t compute.

But luckily, the protest I attended is deemed lawful under current Covid restrictions and I didn’t witness or partake in any anti social behaviour. Nor would I.

Do you mean I make you vomit? Or want to vomit? Why would anyone want to vomit?

I didn’t chant. I’ve been to three protest in my life, including yesterday’s and I’ve never chanted. Not my thing.

Anyway, your temper tantrums and faux outrage aren’t fooling anyone. It’s obvious you don’t care about the police or Covid, you simply have nothing else going on so you spend endless hours in the bear pit, trolling and generally finding outlets for your impotent rage. It’s entertaining to a point but ultimately rather depressing. And for that reason, I’m out.

Don’t be a selfish tw@t Think of others not just yourself.

In England, outdoor gatherings - including in gardens - are allowed with up to six people or two households. You still need to keep two metres from any one you don't live with, or are in a social bubble with.

Good to see you condemning the loyalist violence. Shocking people aren't they?

Also great to see you have directed your heavy cannon back onto me rather than members of my family, it’s always a lot more civilised and grown up to play the ball and not the mans family.
Also that was possibly the highlight of the Bliar regime, all down to Mo Mowlam I might add, proper old school Labour, that wonderful woman will be turning in her grave at what the champagne socialists and casual lefties have turned the party into... an unelectable bunch of anti Semitic thugs that grovel in their knees for career criminals 3000 miles away.

Yet protests are allowed. Odd. But we know the government knows what it’s doing, so gotta be okay. Right?
I guess by allowing protests the government is giving your mob the chance to rage at the left. That wouldn’t be done on purpose? Strange.
But just so you don’t wet the bed, I’m vaccinated and tested twice weekly, clean as a nun’s undies. So no need for your customary name calling :)

What about all the other poor people that haven’t been vaccinated? Selfish, disgusting behaviour..we are so close to beating this virus and selfish activists like yourself could trigger a whole new wave, truly abhorrent behaviour.

I have not heard the Gov say large gatherings are now permitted. The BBC news only a minute ago said thousands took part in demonstrations yesterday despite covid restrictions,

How am I going to give them Covid?
As I say, the government allows protest under current Covid restrictions. Take it up with them :)

Well then you need to keep abreast of regulations.
From gov website.

This information below was correct as of 1 April 2021, but is subject to possible changes.
This page sets out the law and guidance which applies in England only.
Currently, coronavirus regulations prohibit outdoor gatherings of six people or more in public. However, there is an exception in the rules which allows for protests and similar events to have more than six people attend.
You are allowed to gather in a public outdoor place as long as the gathering:
has been organised by a business, a charity, a benevolent or philanthropic institution, a public body, or a political body
the organiser of the protest has carried out a risk assessment which meets the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and
the organiser has taken all reasonable steps to limit the risk of transmission of coronavirus, in line with the risk assessment.

There. The government says it’s permissible so I guess you’d have to take it up with them if you have any concerns.

There is a chance you might still get or spread coronavirus even if you have the vaccine.

This means it is important to:

continue to follow social distancing guidance
if you can, wear something that covers your nose and mouth in places where it's hard to stay away from other people
