Of all my years supporting the Albion ... I have never known us to be so unlucky.

It would help if we put ourselves in positions where luck wasn't a factor - but we just don't have the players to score a 2nd goal.

I don't feel too hard done by as Leicester didn't not deserve to win, unlike our previous fixtures. Our performance dropped off in the 2nd half, and they're a really strong side despite their injuries.

and TBH I think Dunk's challenge on Vardy was probably a penalty.

Oh well... on to the next one.

Absolutely how I feel. Such a ****ing strange season.

I’ve been Potter in, however our game management and substitutions are baffling.

I knew would be AJ before the cameraman caught up, how exactly does that help us in any shape or form? At let’s be honest it’s not the first time either.

Gross / Biss / Trossard / Lallana all obviously knackered from the first half press. Why was MacAllister taken off?

I stand by my view that Izzy or Tau should have been brought on at 70 minutes to give us a credible threat and outlet.

This is becoming soul destroying and to the earlier posters you’re ****ing right, it’s the hope

You can often see it coming. I’ll give you another...Leicester in the cup, at the very end. I said to my Mrs “we look ready to concede”. Sure enough, we did. When the heat is on us, eventually we fold.

Yep, 10 minutes into the 2nd half, I said to the wife, we'll lose this to an 89th minute goal, OK, I was a couple of minutes out but it seems so obvious.

I’m at a failure to see how people would want a manager that yeah makes us play nice football, but it stops there I do not see him doing anything else other than getting some nice passing that leads to no where, same ikr tactics, teams, and results. All the potter in people will still say “He’s good for us!!!!” He’s not, he’ll take us down

The players will take us down. Too much placed at the feet of managers in the modern game. Fans intolerance of not doing well - manager easiest target to blame. Probably with Hughton you could blame his negativity in his final season. Potter has done remarkably well still having this side believing and playing well. Great first half, decent the second.

Anyone who thinks we are unlucky are totally clueless. It's all getting tedious and beyond really caring now. Which is a better place to be.

Indeed. Many deluded people. We NEVER look like winning a game. Maybe Newcastle away and Man U at home is the only one can fairly say that.

A staunch supporter of Potter here.

But something I’ve thought for a while.

There’s only one overall tactic - a passing game, pushed up, so many bodies forward .... even when winning.

This makes up 100% mugs to counter attacks. LCFC overloaded the hapless Alzate, Veltman in the end got outnumbered.

Why no Plan B to see out a win? Stay solid with a couple of CM’s shielding the back 4. Everyone back ten yards. Leaving 2 or 3 to counter the opposition.

This admirable Guardiola-esque football can rarely be sustained with our bottom 6 level budget and quality of player. We lack the pace and power of Leicester for starters.

It's not bad luck is it ? The decision at West Brom was but all the other let downs have been due to Potter and the players.

Yet another season of hoping that 3 teams are worse than us -

1) We enjoy watching the team play

2) The team, despite false observations, seem 100% behind that approach.

3) Most people accept Albion simply have a finishing issue- which is a personnel problem.

4) Potter is an intelligent manager, a view promoted by most independent analysts.

5) Who else would we appoint ?

'Potter out' is a drop and run statement. It only has value if you can offer a sound alternative.

Point 1. I am really not enjoying watching us play. It’s awful seeing us play well and not score and lose, or score and then not have the mental aptitude to see it through. Bar those 3 wins after Xmas the whole season has been excruciating to watch.

Potter certainly wasn’t intelligent tonight. He’s had an absolute shocker imo.
