What does Potter say or not say to the team at half-times ?

Once again a lacklustre second half turns a win into a defeat. We looked like the team that had a mid week fixture not Leicester - jaded and stopped closing down.

Really had enough of this season and this team - groundhog day once again ! :censored:

He says “yeh boys were good, now let’s go out second half, foot off the gas and if you’re playing bad, don’t worry about coming off, no negativity here!!!”

Imho Leicester were the far better team in the second half, with slicker passing, pace to burn everyone, proper internationals such as Tielemens looking at a level we can only dream of.

Totally unenjoyable, the equaliser was inevitable.

I think we like to kid ourselves about how good some of our players are whilst ignoring how poor some of them are. Have to the 3 substitutions were incredibly poor Potter can't be watching the game. Maupay put a massive shift in so did Mac Alister. Wellbeck left there player for second goal did little else. Ali J? Alzate should have been on for Gross or Tross and let Mac take the dead balls.....

Should have taken gross off early in second half and brought on moder to give us a bit of fire. We seemed to be playing with ten men in second half. Gross was absent

I would love to know why the potter in crowd are the in crowd? Give me some reasons you think he should stay? 1 home win all season and 3 points off relegation.

Because it’s pretty clear he has us playing well but we make costly mistakes. He doesn’t miss pens or drop crosses does he?

Agree.

I think there’s a deep rooted psychological issue with our players. This is not about ability or tactics.

It’s courage and belief. As soon as we concede we mentally collapse.

You can often see it coming. I’ll give you another...Leicester in the cup, at the very end. I said to my Mrs “we look ready to concede”. Sure enough, we did. When the heat is on us, eventually we fold.

3 points were there for the taking Leicester were not great but we are the architects of our own downfall.

The second half performance was awful. Right from the whistle. It’s happened a few times when we’ve been in front. Potter is incapable of drilling the mental discipline into this team to see games through.

I didn’t see that as a good performance against a much weakened team. Aside Lallana, a lot of the midfield / forwards weren’t up to the required standard. Thought GP should have made tactical changes earlier as we were getting increasingly overrun.

Inability to score more than one and put games to bed is an issue. That's when we score one of course. We must be the worst team at attacking corners. We have so many and do sod all from them.

This. We were second to virtually every ball in the second half. Its not rocket science - it's obvious Leicester would come out stronger in the 2nd half and we just seemed to accept that this was the natural order and gave up. I am ****ing angry at that disgraceful 2nd half.

Cantor and Aspinall just said that “we were all at sea in the second half”, outplayed from the whistle, their equaliser was clearly coming.
