Appalling treatment of Burnley by SkySports. No matter how ugly they are, they played well tonight and deserved that win for their defending and organisation. Klopp's side had no answers.

Yet since the final whistle, all we've heard from the panel is Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool. I'd be fuming if that was us in Burnley's position. It's insulting.

Well well well that was great by Burnley. That's what Burnley do.

Exactly this. You wouldn't want to be a Burnley fan, watching it week after week after week though.

Watching Burnley this season (not so much tonight as most teams need to defend at Anfield) and I did think I couldn’t go back to that game in game out. Yes it’s kept them up for a few seasons but it’s eye watering and what’s the end game. One season they will slip down it’s inevitable and in the mean time so dull for the fans.

I loved Hughton and was never one to want him gone but the football at the end was as poor as it gets and we had only endured it for two seasons. How Burnley fans can tolerate that crap every week is beyond me.

Now with new owners it could be the end of that though. If they dont turn completely arse for the rest of the season Dyche will obviously stay for another year, quite probably with a much improved squad, and he will either need to adapt or he will get hughtoned and replaced with something more "fancy". As American owners they are definitely in it for the money, and playing like Burnley does wont make you money - no big team will spend money on your players, people in China etc wont buy your merchandise, wealthy sponsors will find something more appealing to put their money in and so on.

Even if the alternative is Rotherham on a Tuesday night? Maybe they watch old re-runs of the Harlem Globetrotters if they fancy being entertained, job done

It will be interesting how this plays out. The new owners have put very little of their own money in, and they've borrowed at very high interest rates. According to El Pres on the Price of Football podcast, they believe they have a system that will give them a competitive edge in identifying and bringing in undervalued talent.

If I was a Burnley fan I think I'd be pretty uneasy about how this might develop....

I remind you that the majority of NSC support our manager and you are the outlier.

You’re making assumptions here. The majority don’t want the club to replace him, that doesn’t mean they automatically support him. It could be the voters think there are no better alternatives currently or the disruption to the team would be bad. Unless you can find out from everyone on NSC that voted in the polls for their reasoning you shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

I watched the whole game and thought Liverpool were awful. There was no drive in the team and without Henderson and #prayforvirgil they've no leaders.

I thought Burnley looked less dangerous than Villa the night before but had a bit more luck. Still how can anyone criticise them for being the first team to win at Anfield for 3.5 years in the EPL.

If that had been us, everyone on here would've been creaming themselves.....

If we had played like that and won everyone on here would be over the moon , its the win that counts and the 3 points it brings.

Nice football is a bonus and for those who think slipping down a league will make viewing any better remember the games where the opposition just came to take a point or try to snatch a victory, there were many of them.

A big game at Villa Park tonight where Newcastle will be very worried about spiralling further into the relegation battle.
It's live on SkySports 8pm ko.

Newcastle fans social media contributions are always good value when they play.
I can understand why Steve Bruce says he's doesn't look at social media.
