Looking like over 400k vaccinations yesterday(!!)

That is ABOVE the daily amount needed to hit mid-Feb target.

The wife and I have both been booked for jab tomorrow afternoon. Neither of us are 60 yet ( I'm not far off ) so relieved for the Mrs as she's been through the ringer these past few yrs with her health .

:clap2: Hope it goes well mate, must be such a relief to those that are understandably vulnerable and afraid.

All numbers are down today except deaths which of course take longer to decrease, hospital admissions, positive tests, people in hospital, ventilated patients have also stayed the same now for 4 days,

And vaccinations are UP, tide officially TURNED.

13 Full Amex stadiums vaccinated yesterday. That’s just a crazy amount of people when you really think about it. :clap2:

As well as the good news on R and vaccinations, 7-day case numbers are 25% down now on the previous rolling 7 days - 90,000 less and Hospitalisations are also down (3.2%) on the previous 7 day period.

Beat me to it...just came up on my twitter feed ....very good news

That caveat bit is puzzling....so lower infection rate places more inclined to get a vaccine....so higher...not so...sounds daft

Further information on the above posts, it SEEMS to indicate that the efficacy of one dose is quite high.
