No. Shane Duffy isn’t a premier league defender. Hence he is playing in a league 1 standard league.

That is unfair. For three seasons he was good in the Prem and brought the best out of Dunk. Our biggest aerial threat at corners, a warrior.

Yes, he was never the best passer and this year his form has dipped but he is an Albion legend.

Hughton wouldn't even consider coming back to us, treated poorly in my opinion sacked by Bloom.

Bloom didn't even sack Hyypiä and he was shite.

Hyypia knew when to go, Hughton didn't. It would have looked better all round if it had been a mutual separation but the end result was the same.

He still wouldn't even think about coming back if we were in the mire...

Yeah I get what your saying, Duffy 8 goals absolute under achiever as a centre back, useless prick.

Whereas Bissouma has netted a whopping 2 goals, attacking midfield.

Yet Bissouma is being touted with top clubs but Duffy ended up on loan in a minor league!

Duffy did a job as an old fashioned centre half stopper. We all know he isn't a ball playing defender and that's the style we are playing now.

Agreed Duffy did a job, old school, Bissouma may well be touted with top clubs so was Dunk.

Harsh in the absolute extreme, l can think of a few Premier League teams that he would fit into, and in our first season in this league l remember that the Dunk n Duffy combo was being talked about by some, as one of the best central defensive pairings in the country. They complimented each other so well.

Facts are facts though,l and potter ball just doesn't suit Shane's talents.

Duffy is clueless passing the ball out of defence

Yes possibly a touch harsh. He was excellent for us under Hughton but It had become apparent we had moved beyond what he had to offer which is pretty limited for a PL defender. He would have suited someone like West Brom though and could have gone to a better level than Celtic.

Here
I think Duffy's absence has had a negative impact on Dunk's game but he's not a Potter player so he won't be back and Potter will have to find another way to help Dunk get his form back.
