I did think about that. The correction was that folk in tier three aren't allowed to attend anyway.

Hastings was recently placed in tier 3 (I think). I wonder (EDIT-Yes, two days ago), if that was the case, whether folk already had tickets from before then.

Would they be refused entry ? I don't know. Although I guess most wouldn't risk it.

Tier 3, did they allow fans to buy?

You can (I think) technically buy if in T3 but obviously shouldn’t. The latest club ticket email has been beefed up a bit and appears to indicate (but isn’t categoric) that your ticket will be blocked if you’re registered as living in a T3 area.

The Tier change from 3-4 makes no practical difference at this stage

One of the terms and conditions for entry at any of the upcoming matches is


"Please do not attend the Match if you live in or are travelling from a COVID Local Area Tier 3 (Very High Risk) location"
