Not sure knows his own tactics now. Reckon the old trigger finger is starting to tweak. Thought he was meant to be the man of many formations. Not working is it

Some way from becoming critical.

Silly me, you're right. We can make those points up against Man City later in the season.

Same old story. Some nice passing and build up but no cutting edge in the last third plus sloppy crosses and wasted set pieces. Having said that I'm not too despondent. Was a little predictable pre match. Burnley came for a draw and they held out. Job done. We missed March and Trossard tonight. Burn isn't a wing back in the mould of Solly and It showed. Thought Welbeck done reasonably okay for his first full start, especially that clever cross for Laptey in the first minute. Had he been a bit sharper he could have nicked a couple in the first half.

Oh well, back to Anderson Cooper and John King.

Am I allowed to say I'm beginning to lose faith in Potter or will I get called a 'bed-wetter' or similar?

Yes!

We played some brilliant football tonight.
So close to a win. Just not quite clinical enough (Maupay)

Looking at Lallana and Welbeck there is so much class in our play.
Bissouma was brilliant today.

Once we click and confidence comes in we will move up the table.

Two points from West Brom and Burnley. Absolutely nothing positive to take from that.

Apart from the 2 points

I am disappointed, but I'd be on suicide watch had we lost that.

I had to apologise to my pal who I watched the game with (he's Liverpool). And I paid for it :lolol:

Onwards and upwards.

This is football. This is Premier League. A club like us will go through form like this.

I still believe in our management team and this manager.

We will turn the corner. Keep the faith.

There are 90 points to play for. It’s irritating but hardly critical.

So we'll make them up against Liverpool and Man City?

It’s frustrating, but some of the comments on here are OTT. I guess it’s what fan bases have. Some who are more measured, some who are so critical about everything, some who have less patience than others. For what it’s worth, I think it’s the best football and best side I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Just needs some more firepower / balls in front of goal. Everyone’s allowed an opinion, but some are just knee jerk reactions to the frustration.

Welbeck and Maupay were very blunt up front.

Not enough early balls. Ali J got 2 in very soon after coming on. I'd play him on the right and let Lamptey (who can't cross well yet) to play further back but cut in like he did for his should-have-been 'goal'.

But what do I know?

If that was indeed a serious post I’ll point out the 2 points and not handing teams down there with us 3 points may be positive... and not losing either? Slight positives? :lolol::lolol:

We've been saying that for 15 months under Potter. It's getting very, very old....
Sorry was paraphrasing the masses. It does look increasingly like GP is not the man to get the wins required. Our record this calendar year is shocking, as is our home record against the bottom sides. GP may have nice ideas but it needs to be married with better game management and more pragmatism and I'm not sure he has this in his locker.

Have to question the clubs decision to give Potter that generous contract extension just months into the job. Results haven’t picked up since. We’re only just keeping our heads above the water.

4 points dropped in 2 consecutive home games against teams that haven't won a game all season between them.

Just 1 goal scored in 3 hours of football against those 2 teams.

Struggling to find any positives there.
