Has anyone else not had the email?

The double hit of no email and taking a £72 direct debit today means I’ll be taking the refund ASAP.

Had my DD taken today. This was meant to have stopped October 1st according to club email. Had an apology email this evening reg their mistake and I get refund for this months money next week....

Jesus give your heads a wobble people! A number of you are long standing fans who have supported us through the shit - enjoy the best team we’ve had. No superfan post intended but I could never ever turn my back on the Albion - it’s in the blood / DNA EXACTLY the same as anywhere else in the country and yes we have a pretty decent atmosphere in one of the best stadiums in the country.

I too am totally fed up with VAR, totally fed up with refs blatantly favouring the bigger clubs, many parts of the premier league, many aspects of this shit year and pandemic... but I just can’t wait to get back to the Amex more than anything (as it’s the only thing since first lockdown ive not been able to properly do!).

Cheer up, most of you will renew and are just gutted about the way things have gone against us this season. Don’t give up on your passion or the club we love though. Sort it out! Things will pick up in many ways next year :)

I would miss you if I gave up my ST :lolol:

SIT DOWN SHEEBO!! I can’t see :D

This happened to me today.
And I haven’t received any emails from the club...

Exactly this happened to me

Money taken today. No email from the Club

If I don’t request a refund now, can I in the future?

I contacted the club yesterday as I had not received an email from the club detailing my refund information. I was told that my email address did not recieve the club email.
I was in the reply told the refund amount, but no link to request refund, just reply to the email from yesterday and they would process.

I would suggest you get in touch with the club, as it would seem that not everyone has had the email promised.

Sent an email to club as my DD was taken yesterday. They say there was an email sent stating that November would be last DD payment taken. I had assumed as they were now offering a refund that had changed. I can request 75% refund, but will probably leave so I have paid up front when we are allowed to go again.

Whether you received the email or not, you can still hop on to the ticketing site and request it in the same way as someone who did receive the email...

Thank you
I rang them up

They couldn’t explain why I didn’t get the email but offered a full refund now, or in the future as I preferred

I told them to hang onto the money for now. My small bit to help the club with its cash flow. Pays for 2 minutes of Lalana...

Whilst waiting for news of the Trump horror show, I checked my bank account and both season ticket holder refunds have been paid in a lump sum.
I thought it was going to be over five months.

My refund has appeared in my bank account already. Tidy service. Very efficient.

Ditto

There are so RIGHT moaners on this site currently, especially from some of the 'older' fans who have watched us during the 'war years' and done the hard miles and Scunthorpe's away on a winter Wednesday night, who (like me) never imagined they'd watch BHA in the Premier League..............and are now moaning about VAR, being cannon fodder, will-never-win-the league, etc, etc.

Perhaps moving on for some of you is the right thing to do, given financial restraints and a younger generation (like my 9 year old son and his friends) who have BHA as their team and can't wait to watch live football and see the super-stars they read about and play on X-box in the flesh.

Why should they walk away? They should just let money men trample over the football supporting experience rather than fight for what's right (PPV?)

Is there something that says every supporter should be content with every Paul Barber essay, every daft bit of Premier League decision-making, and pay whatever is demanded just because some 9 year old kids with no concept of cost love The Amex?

Not sure that's how it works.

Good news re refunds

Don't be ridiculous. What an attitude. I am grateful and thankful we have a club, especially given our current position and the position we found ourselves in twenty years ago. But why should that disenfranchise me or anyone else from having opinions and expressing them. You go ahead and lap everything up, but for me, VAR is a disaster for football and seriously impacts the enjoyment. If we all acquiesced all the time we wouldn't have a club.

Yep - got my refund today so very happy. My only complaint was that I felt forced to take it as if I didn't they would take another 3 months' money. But as I am now on a 2 day week, I am glad I did.

But I have said it before and will say it again, as someone involved in a similar (albeit much more complicated) situation in co-ordinating DD changes with multiple variables, give the staff a break. It isn't some personal vendetta if they make a mess of yours - it is a genuine mistake.
