Seems the EU are declaring war on the UK. UvdC has just announced that, regarding us rescinding the Internal Market Bill, 'as of today we have received no such agreement with the UK'. Next step is legal but if that fails watch out.

So US breaking the law means THEY are declaring war?

You have a very warped perspective buddy

Or how about, as a less inflammatory alternative, the EU are asserting their rights, as set out in the Withdrawal Agreement (agreed and signed by a certain Mr A B deP Johnson), through the dispute mechanism agreed and set out in said agreement?

The Chamberlain reference does make sense though - it's the EU who have been conciliatory, and us going rogue....

I'm guessing that facts don't make any appearance within the OP's somewhat limited armoury :shootself

Utter tosh.

But well done for moving into first place for the most idiotic post of the year.

UK are breaking a legal contract, what exactly did they expect the EU to do? Can you imagine the frothing if it was the EU breaking the contract!
To be fair, at least from the majority NSC point of view, there's probably more frothing about the UK breaking the contract!

have to wonder what is the purpose of this response. just as we're supposed to be agreeing a future arrangement, throwing around threats to take to a court that is in discussion seems a tad insensitive. plus the new law doesnt break the agreement until its applied, and hasnt passed the lords either, so isnt law yet anyway.
