Based on nothing more than youtube videos I'm not totally enamoured by this one, maybe it's the standard of where he's playing but I'm not very excited about this one yet. However will trust Potter to coach him to show the potential he has.

As a fan, This window does feel like you sent off the Mrs to Aldi with a list and £100, thinking she'd come back with at least Champagne, a Frozen Lobster and some Smoked Salmon.........

....... and all she comes back with is a heavily reduced set of silicone cake moulds from the middle section and then tries to convince you its actually a great deal as they were the last ones and its cheaper to make your own food.

Replace Aldi with Iceland

:lolol: Yes exactly! We've been linked with striking talent like Edouard, Brewster, Origi etc and now we're getting a 21yr old still wet behind the ears from an inferior league for a few shillings.

Plus if you notice iwhat Owensaid in his story about Zeqiri, "he's within our budget" - Says it all really.

However I'm not going to totally write him off before seeing him play (although I know that is the NSC way)

I'll hazard a guess he's an U23 punt so the current U23 punt can go to Swansea, in the hope he returns slightly less of a punt.

Not only are you bang out of order, but your spelling is atrocious.

Not a chance.

I was just using his words.

This fella may well have considerably more too him than that.
But I'd be amazed if he were to roll into town and be instantly knocking on the first team door.

Hmmmm. Clearly something to work on but with the best will in the world, as near to the finished product as Connolly

I like the idea of this signing, assuming he's half decent of course. We will have a young player who will start as our third choice striker and not have the expectation to start. But he'll also be highly motivated to make a starting position his own.

Meanwhile West Ham will go and spend another £25m they probably don't have on another risky signing and increase the pressure on the team.

I prefer our approach.

I've said it before, but the Swiss 1st division is pretty awful - so goodness knows about the 2nd division. Let's protect our fragile mental health and write him off now and all be pleasantly surprised when he scores his 3rd 'tric taking us into Europe.

Preferring the Albion's approach to football leadership over West Ham's is much the same as preferring breathing to not.

Only problem with this is if we have injuries to our usual front 2 then this bloke could be starting up front on his own against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City. Even if he is half decent it's such a huge step up from the Swiss league to the Premier League.

I think if we do sign him we will see another striker signed before the end of the window and he will be 4th choice.

A season with the U23's then possibly a loan to the Championship next season and he'll be ready for the 2022/23 season. Worth a punt for the future.

Not sure we would send a private jet to go and get a youth player who is considered that far from the first team, would we?

I would be surprised to be honest. I think this is it.

Not sure why you would believe a twitterist that the club are sending a jet.

Although in fairness, in the current climate, it's not beyond the realm of possibility, for the sake of everyone else.

Have you ever read anything on twitter that wasn't true?

I certainly haven't.

I'm personally very excited and you are not going to ruin my glass of Domestos.
