Well Boris and co can eff off .... again ... six is a stupidly low number. It means my parents couldn't come round for dinner to see their grandchildren .... a massive total of seven people. It's now gone beyond ridiculous ... every nation having slightly different rules ... masks needed in shops etc but only being implemented months after the outbreak .... changes being made to the rules on the fly .... no real increase in deaths ... NHS no longer under stress. I fully accept there is a virus but the government need to get a grip and not just make things up as they go along.

The rise of CV19 has started, all governments and scientists are now acting to prevent a repeat of the first wave. My wife works at Worthing Hospital - where two weeks ago Covid wards were empty, as they had been for a very long time. They’re now filling rapidly, with the first CV19 death.

This is very real.

Big uptick in cases in Worthing this week - 37 this week compared to 5 last week, putting Worthing at 33 cases per 100k.

Changes in small numbers can lead to apparent big percentage shifts, of course, so fingers crossed this is a blip rather than a significant trend. If it's the latter, Worthing could be one of the first places in the South to require further measures imposed.

I've got no praise for this Government whatsoever, lurching from one crisis to another but my point was that you deem the figure of 6 to be inconvenient to you as had it been 7 you could carry on with your sunday lunch!

19 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week 5 Sep-11 Sep.

So the trend appears to be downwards again - 19 per 100K compared to 37 per 100K the previous week.

Sadly, these figures, and all the others are absolute bollocks, all the while there are **** all tests available for those that need them.

It would seem from personal experience, that the government is now going down the Trump route of restricting testing to keep the confirmed cases down.

are they, seem to be pushing tests alot? the capacity on tests is controlled by who NHS allows to carry out testing.
