For your info I’ve already had what would probably described as a relatively serious bout of Covid back in March. Bed ridden for 10 days, cough lingered for another two weeks after. Have felt pretty much fine thereafter. I’m 47 so about the expected effect and again unless you have serious underlying health issues and are over 70 highly highly highly unlikely you will die or have serious long term implications. We were told the plan was to flatten the curve. It literally couldn’t be any flatter. There is absolutely zero reason why we shouldn’t at the very least now be at around the Sweden model.

We went from 1 or 2 deaths a day at the beginning of March, to more than 1000 a day at the beginning of April, without lockdown until 23rd March. My Local pub re opened for a week and then had to shut down again when 4 staff and 16 customers got Covid. You can hug dozens of people and no problem if none are shedding virus, or you can stand too close to one infectious person and you have it. Stop being daft.

How many of those 20 from the local pub have died? We also went from a peak to almost eradication WITHOUT wearing masks. Why are they being forced on everyone now where social distancing alone would suffice?

Its not about "impressing" someone, its about just being a decent human. Put yourself in that situation: someone mocking you, your friend or your family for their medical issues just because this "someone" does not agree with you on some subject. I think you wouldnt like it. Same for me. Probably same for Megazone.

Now I doubt that you would ever openly admit "ok, it was not a very cool or sensible thing to do", but I also think you are sensible enough to at least have the thought spinning around your head and perhaps will be looking for a different way to get your point across in an perhaps equally condescending but hopefully less über-***** way the next time. It’s easy to forget that the peak was early April. Deaths have been on a downward trajectory ever since. I believe the figure today is four, three of which predate August. At the peak there were 2800 on ventilators. Now there are 52.

I was much more blase in February than I am now. Probably much more in line with those I was arguing with today. But I was doing what HWT has called out brilliantly earlier in the thread - trying to find "facts" to support the way I wanted things to play out, rather than how they should have, or did.

The situation in Italy seriously woke me up, as did getting involved in the pandemic planning at work. I've stayed cautious ever since and am today. I've had friends and acquaintences who have lost people to this bug. One good friend lost his mother in law one week after his father in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I've also almost certainly had Covid myself. I had a cough for four months and no smell for two. I used to run marathons and was training for an ultra. I can't run 200 yards at present.

All of which yanks my chain a bit when people claim it's not real / brought on by 5G / no cases any more / just crack on. Apparantly, it's bad form to turn that on its head though

Now, ask yourself what motivation people might have for changing their mind the other way and wanting things opened back up. I'd say being very senior in an affected industry would be one, eh?

Shops were open and people were out of lockdown well before mandatory masks in retail outlets.

Really sorry to hear you're still in bad health at present due to corona virus and I hope things get better for you. Have you considered getting checked just to confirm it's definitely Corona?

Also, sorry to hear you've lost people to Corona. That must be an awful experience for anyone.

Inregards to your anger issues with people questioning certain elements of this virus, have you considered things like meditation and maybe knocking the alcohol on the head? I get the impression you're sitting there waiting for someone's views which are different to yours going by how bad tempered your posts are coming across. Even yesterday you posted something about ************ at someone! You do know we've got plenty of kids using this forum don't you? And I'm sure they would think that's pretty weak humoured.

Remember those days when I used to bang on about conspiracy theories on here. Well it's like we've reversed roles and now it's you fuelling these childish online arguments with everyone. How about just stopping all this "I hate anyone who doesn't agree with me" crap and just accept the diversity this forum brings. People all over the world are protesting over this current crisis so I don't think you should be letting yourself take this so personally. From what you've just told us about your current strugglles, it sounds like you've been through a very hard time which might be contributing to your apparent need for an online fight. I understand, we all can act like idiots at time but I do honestly hope you can get healthier and cheer up. Things are going amazing for us as a club and it's great to see the togetherness amongst our fans with all this Leeds trolling going on. It's not nice seeing fellow fans in dispute with each other over things we are all suffering from.

I can promise you I had Covid and was confined to bed for days. What my ability to still post on social media probably shows you (weird and very odd stalking btw, how did you check my post count?) is that for well over 99% of people it isn’t going to kill you and when youre in bed you tend to look at your phone in the absence if anything else at all to do. I also watched Netflix. Hope that’s ok.

Quite a simple process, I clicked on the tab that allows one to look at a posters previous posts and checked back to March. As ex police it’s what’s known as good detective work.

Agree for 99% of people it won’t kill them, but you inferred you had a relatively serious dose.

I couldn’t be arsed to read all your posts from that period, but didn’t spot any that said you had Covid, which as it was such a hot topic at the time, and your stance at the time, I would have thought it might get a mention... if you did I sincerely apologise

We’re relatively close to Sweden now but would say masks in shops is quite a big difference and they had no lock down at all and have demonstrated a similar impact to us. The worry is there is already a narrative of a second spike and lockdown being primed through the MSM.

Yeah no problem. I've already mentioned this to Bozza in regards to this multiple account stuff I've constantly been accused of. The Truth and Rosa were 2 different accounts. Rosa was my ex girlfriend who got me Into the conspiracies. We were sharing the same room in Shanklin Rd, Brighton at the time (2011) so came under the same IP address. The Truth (me) got banned for being accused of also being my ex girlfriends account which was incorrect but I will accept I was probably acting like a knob anyway so the ban was probably for the best. I will admit she lied about being able to speak Spanish and trust me I was annoyed she did that, but she was only 21 at the time. No need to be so bothered about it really is there? It's not quite as bad as what's on this thread is it?

My next account was Falmer. That account was closed down by request though I was being tongue in cheek when it happened. There was no multiple account accusations with that one. Check if you don't believe me. I think it was Hiney who closed it down?

Then there was Megazone. Last April I had a seizure where I forgot my pin number, my email account password and my password for NSC. I emailed Bozza explaining what had happened and if it was possible I could get back into my account without the previous password. Bozza couldn't allow it so I opened up that Jeff Mintin account making sure the moderator could see I wasn't attempting any multiple account as you've constantly accused me of and been wrong.


What I find a bit difficult with your reasons for not believing this is that you wanted to meet up with me and my ex girlfriend for me to prove we weren't the same account. Let's not forget you werent a moderator at the time so it did come across a bit strange why you were so bothered by this. So like any normal person, I just ignored you. Unfortunately you then used that as your proof we were the same people for how many years later. Eventually I decided we should meet up so I could prove all this to you to finally end this constant trolling over F all. But then you started claiming what a headcase I was and how you wouldn't endanger yourself from meeting up. Completely hypocritical.

Me and Rosa split up in 2016. It was a very hard breakup. I don't want to slag her off on here as I was a shit boyfriend anyway, but what happened as a result of the breakup triggered back my epilepsy for the 1st time since 2006 and its completely destroyed my life ever since.

If you don't want to believe any of this why not come and meet up and I can prove this to you. It will save you spending another 9 years going on about it plus it will stop you attacking my epilepsy because you also think that's made up too.

Nonetheless mate, haven't you got better more important things to bang on about these days? Everyone else I used to squabble with on here, all those years ago, seem to have moved on plus we all seem to post well to each other now. It's only you still clinging onto this. Like I said before, how about a new leaf and we start being more positive?
