I’ve resisted commenting too much on this thread, but no, I am NOT, nor ever have been an ‘attention seeking prat’.

All I said was that ‘it was in the cards’, ‘talks on hold til season is over’, and ‘3 people have told me the same’
I never personally said ‘he’s definitely going’, even if the inclination of the people who told me suggests that he is.
I DO get some in the know info, and I rarely say anything. I wish I’d taken the same stance this time.

Some people would have you believe I was the worst type of Brighton fan have ever had, and it’s utter bollocks to think that of me.

As Keegan would say, I would love it if my sources have all got it wrong and he stays... but don’t label me as some kind of f*cking stirring idiot, because I’m absolutely not.

That's talks with player. Nothing to stop clubs talking to each other. They do it all the time.

Purely out of interest, what ‘in the know’ info have you had previously that wasn’t in the public domain? And was it always correct? And was it from these 3 sources? Is one source like the 3rd one you decided to do the tweet after the best one who is well placed? Not having a go, just trying to establish, as the very few that were ‘in the know’ that I know of, now say the Albion are so tight lipped they never hear anything...

Also, usually sources that would give info would say ‘don’t spread it around or put it on the internet’ if they’re that well placed if they dared to say anything... Let alone tweet it and cause a national paper to write a report purely based on your tweet! (The Express today)!

If I may, after 42 or so pages of back and forth discussion, theorising, arguments and rampant speculation what have we all learned?

As I see it the only solid facts actually on the table are that Twitter is fantastic at spreading rumours and that Lewis has recently had the blinds done in his designer house.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to know that but there are more pressing matters.

From my experience on here Jam The Man has been the most ITK poster on here re transfers.... not 100% right On all rumours but often enough to know that he has an inside source.
Having said that ITK doesn’t mean that Dunk is going, it’s more that Chelsea have probably approached us and there may be/ have been discussions.
However, it all comes down to money and it seems as if Chelsea have to sell before they buy. Therefore who knows at this stage. However, I don’t think it’s right to pick on Jam The Man based on his previous rumours.

As a poster said a page or two ago, there are more important things in life. I have a parent currently in an induced coma, so it was utterly stupid of me to get myself caught up in this crap.

I’m sorry to all I’ve offended, and I’ll be staying off here for a while as I don’t need the stress that ultimately I’ve probably brought on myself.
Genuine thanks to those (most of you) who haven’t resorted to abuse, and I’m sorry to those who just want to know ‘what I know and how I know’ - I’m sorry I can’t reveal everything for you. But like I said, it would’ve been better to stay quiet. Lesson learned. I thought I’d learnt it back in 2006 but hey ho!

One thing for sure unlike the old days no leaks coming from the staff on the mowers, especially the team news as no one could find that out prior to the Potter wheel has been spun. With furlough the ITK's haven't been in the pub with their dog, the window cleaners, cleaning er windows, barbers cutting the latest style. There’s too many pages on this thread for me to assess how strong the rumours seem, but all I’ll say is that Dunky has deserved his big move for the best part of 5 years now. I’d love him to stay and would think it’d be a huge dent in our hopes not to be in a relegation scrap for a 4th season in a row if he were to leave. However, we’ve got to get a lot better quickly or he’s got to leave soon if he wants to be on Southgate’s radar, surely? This could be his one shot at a major international tournament with the Euros being postponed until 2021.
