To be fair, I don’t think you can read anything into a club’s future Premier League prospects from the playoff final. The stakes are so high. It must choke off pretty much all invention. Brentford have played some startling football over the year but it does look as though they’ve choked.

Not sure it's quite the "incredible achievement" Minto has just said it is though. They were pre-season favourites, they kept Mitrovic, and paid £10m each for Knockaert and Cavaleiro amongst others.

As much as we love Knockaert, he looks awful now. So wasteful and not interested. Don’t think he really wants to be at Fulham.
