I’m not one of the NSC’ers who thinks that fans shouldn’t criticise.

For me, in any PL season on paper Stains is an odds on loss, especially now with Ings, Redmond, Ward-Prowse etc on fire, upsetting media luvvies Citeh and Manure.

So I envisage a loss, anything else would be an unlikely and most welcome surprise.

No I completely agree. Just disappointed with the line up. On our day, with our best line up, we've shown we can compete with most in this league. I do get that we've played a lot of games in a short space of time after a long lockdown, and that we only need a point, but was hoping for a bit of a more inspiring line up still. Hope I'm proved wrong!

Edit - don't know why posted twice, website crashed last time

Disagree - A POINT WILL DO. no way are both plucky AND villa going to turn over a 12 goal difference if we draw and i cant see us getting hammered at home by newcastle and away to burnley anyway.

But both Plucky AND Villa don't need to overturn a 12 goal difference (Plucky are now only 9 behind anyway) - assuming Hammers and Watford gain enough points, only Plucky OR Villa need to overturn our GD.

I think.

Who doesn't Monty know?

He's always having a good old chinwag with someone on the opposing side, in the tunnel before kick off.

Probably, but only the JCLs and ones that can’t take losing - sake as always with the knee jerkers...!

Loads of optimistic posts expecting a win or draw tonight, many from long term NSC’ers.

I’ve noticed in our PL years that some who expected a result, take the balloon being popped of a loss really badly, with a night of angry posts about the manager and certain players.

My coping strategy is low expectations, any point/s is a bonus.

Dibley has gone 'platoon' twice in quick succession. Looks likes he's been studying Salah.

Didn’t we originally have Liverpool and Man City for the final two games. Or was that last season

No we are playing the games in the original drawn order. Although the game vs Liverpool and Man City may have been in the air a bit due to the FA cup and CL. Burnley was always our last fixture though.

VAR got everything spot on. Ayew was miles offside, and the Utd defender got the ball first, which is all that matters. Perfect decisions, and I won't hear anything to the contrary.

Nasty looking arm injury to palace’s Van Arnold as well as yet another loss to add to their sequence. I think they’ll struggle next season with that aging squad, especially given the quick turnaround and lack of squad depth. Might have an early relegation bet on them.

Not Premier League related but what happened in Spain tonight? 10 red cards,5 of which came in 90th minute or later
