Definitely a key area that we need to upgrade in. Ryan has been ok over the past 3 seasons - not too many clangers, but there's too many goals this season where you feel a better keeper would have saved them. Walton would be an improvement on the two current back up keepers though not sure he's ready to push for a starting position yet.

Remember Ryan was a reserve at Valencia when he was signed - he is 28 years old and has reached his ceiling. He is what he is - a decent goalkeeper who turned out somewhat better than I expected, but could just as easily be playing for a Championship team. Upgrade at goalkeeper would move the team forward - but good goalies are difficult to find and can cost a lot.

Really enjoyed that from 10 mins onwards. Some really lovely football and plenty of positives. Trossard and Lamptey standouts for me, but Burn too bar his miss. Some brilliant interplay and moved the ball about with pace and intent. If only we could take more chances, and start a game well (bar Leicester of late)

A bit more belief, a few silly mistakes cut out early doors and we could have got something out of the game.
No disgrace to lose to the champions, so being disappointed is a bit surreal.
I guess we got what we deserved but at least we weren’t totally outclassed.
A decent effort after the 9th minute, I thought.
