Does that include standing in a wall, or our attack bus corners and what does an upside down smiley mean?

With local lockdown re -imposed in North Rhine Westphalia, I wonder what will happen if similar occurs here. Did the PL ever make a ruling on what will happen if the season is stopped again ?
They decided not to decide anything and just hope the decision never had to be made.

Been a roaring success and some of the comments from people decrying the mere notion of the PL trying to get football back again look laughable now. Granted it's nowhere near the real thing with an audience but after a bit if rustiness the quality had improved and plenty of games are very watchable now with record viewing figures.
Probably best for me just to admit to being a massive, fickle hypocrite. While the lockdown was in force, I thought attempts to resume the season were misguided, going as far as to say this season was effectively over as far as I was concerned. Following the restart and our highly pleasing points haul, I’m loving the return of football.

Half a dozen NSC’ers stoically rode the storm, optimistically seeing solutions (once deemed safe to start). Bloom, Barber and their 19 counterparts pushed for a resumption, unashamedly for financial reasons and they calmly came up with all the answers. Whilst the media circled like vultures, hoping for civil war between the bottom 6 clubs and the rest, it never came. The hyperbole right to the bitter end that football was going to cost lives, the clubs were depriving NHS staff of testing equipment, all put to bed.
The cop out of null and void was never on the cards in England. Most Albion fans must shirley now be chuffed that we’re probably staying up from playing out all our fixtures.
I haven’t enjoyed TV football this much for a long while. I had previously got quite bored of the circus, the PL hype. The three months complete break was perfect in recharging my football watching mojo.
Next stop, attending Amex PL games.

Similar here, although my primary thought was Covid was going to mess it up. Happily, even outside of the PL bubble, it’s either fizzling, weakening to the extent it’s not a serious illness for the vast majority (or waiting for colder weather to come back with a vengeance).
Very pleased to at least have some sport to watch and talk/post about. This, coupled with the very welcome ‘bear pit’ sub forum creation has made NSC a much better place too [emoji16][emoji16]
Me too. It's also cost me a lot money in bets with mates. ffs.

I am one very willing to admit that playing the season to a finish was the only way that we would be relegated and so was very sure that any re-start would be mis-guided, unnecessary and un-safe! I am reviewing that position match by match of course, and hope that I can pompously point out that the "points per game" ratio would have delivered the same result as playing the games and the risk/hassle could have been avoided!

Far less I would think. I'm another one with Jim Higham who was reluctant to see it restart but is now enjoying it. It is still Pepsi to the normal season's Coke, ITV to its BBC, Sham 69 to its Pistols but it's better than no cola, telly or punk at all. The results are the icing on the whatsit.

Just about sums it up how I felt, I didn't want to see any football for the rest of the year, thought it would be far to risky, the integrity of the competition was compromised and the rule changes made no sense. I still feel this season should have been cancelled and a new season started in September. I have to admit though I have been excited by the return to winning ways for us, if we were in Bournemouth or Villas position I think my position on restarting the season would have stayed the same.
I am a hypocrite.
