I see Man Utd flew down yesterday and stayed in a hotel in the area whereas most teams have been travelling to games on the day no matter how long the journey is.

Fascinated to see what Potter learns from the mauling we got at OT. At the presser he says we 'got away with' just a 3-1 defeat.

GP has been one step ahead of his rival coaches in both games so far. Love to think he has a plan to stop Rashford/Martial et al. If he does, pretty sure it will include the pace of Lamptey and the newfound destructive powers of BISSOUMA!

We won't risk Webster. It's not in our nature, especially with the ongoing risk of Dunk getting suspended. Duffy will put his body on the line - I for one would like to keep him even with White back next season. He has been a fantastic servant and don't forget he scored against Utd last season.

Utd obviously rested many first choices against Norwich but key players Maguire and Bruno Fernandes both played 120 mins just 3 days ago. Expect one or both to be rested tonight, or to be vulnerable late on.

Worthing
Was the journey wasted because the centre is closed? Guessing having hundreds of potential virus carriers in the car park isn't a good idea, do they wash the place down though I wonder.

Oh, and I wont take a draw. Win please.

Told on arrival that testing centre closed on Match days...............................Didn't say that when we booked last night:rant:

Must win game for Utd - pressure is on them. They’re not great on the road. Bruno played 120 minutes on Saturday. Rashford still not 100%. We will concede possession again and Connolly and Maupay can exploit the gaps in behind if they push for it. 1-1 draw and a fuming Roy Keane!

We're 6.5 on Betfair, gotta be worth a tickle

That's drifted out from 9/2 when I had a tickle yesterday - I wish I'd waited...

I'm buzzing for tonight - just topped the fridge up with beer and the missus has been informed the TV is booked for the evening

Will it be Duffy partnering Dunk at the back or will Burn move to CB and Bernardo come in at LB?

Expecting to see Propper and Stephens starting together tonight. March if I remember correctly did okay at OT in the reverse fixture so think he may start too.

At the end of my tether
Today’s the day, tonight’s the night......

This evening Albion take on perhaps the biggest , richest club in the world and we do so being in the same League. That says something about our club.
The game is on live tv, free to watch on Sky Pick and ( I believe) Sky One. The whole world can watch it and most of them probably will.
So, settle down, if you have a mind to crack open the Harvey’s keg and down a piglet pie or two all well and good :whisky:
Win, draw or lose... I will be proud

I have a suggestion:

Official Match Thread to get stickied on matchday?

Now, as for the lineup, we have a bit of a conundrum with our central(ish) midfield players.

Mooy - I want to see him play today. On his day he can dominate and run a game.
Mac Allister - I want to see him play today. Has shown he has real promise and something creative to offer going forward.
Bissouma - I want to see him play today. Has earned the stripes in his last two games.
Propper - I want to see him play today. Our best CM, and I imagine was rested in the last match with today in mind.

Doesn't leave much room for wide players though. Unless we go one up top (which is quite possible against a good side).

Perhaps we could go with something like this:

Ryan

Lampty
Dunk
Duffy
Burn

Bissouma
Propper

Jahanbakhsh
Mac Allister
Mooy

Maupay

Not a prediction, just what I would like to see. No doubt the reality will be something completely different.

Man U should really be beating teams like Brighton. Wheel loose this one brothers.

Can see Solskjær bringing himself on as a supersub for the last 5 minutes to snatch it.

This is the third match since the restart that I have expected that we will get no points from. I have been wrong twice and really hope to be wrong again.

The team I want:

Ryan - Webster, Dunk, Burn - Lamptey, Pröpper, Bissouma, Bernardo (or Mooy if Bernardo is fcked up somehow) - Maupay, Connolly

The team I predict:

Ryan - Schelotto, Webster, Dunk, Burn - Gross, Bissouma, Mooy, Pröpper, March - Maupay

Think its likely Potter is starting with a lineup including Mooy and Gross to be able to have some possession in the first 25 minutes when "big" teams usually press very hard to get the lead. Once the storm is over, I think some more pace and attacking threat (Macallister, Trossard, Lamptey, Connolly) will be brought on in half-time and fairly early in the second half.

Considering the last Montoya vs Rashford experience, I'm 95% certain Martin will be on the bench. Many would call for Lamptey to replace him and I agree though I'm sceptic this will be the case - Potter loves giving young players the chance but he made quite clear (while at Swansea) that he believes its not physically healthy for young players to play more than one game a week - and that game is Norwich, where I'm sure Lamptey will start.
