Just to clarify this offer is to get access to the app, not for access to BT Sport on Sky. Yes you can ‘mirror’ it to your TV but you need some equipment for this such as Apple TV or a firestick.

If you’re going to use the app for the first time and are using your phone just hope no-one rings you - it switches the app off!

I guess it depends what your set up is. Plenty of youtube tutorials available. For, let's say, a TV with a Fire Stick, and a Galaxy S something phone

Step 1 - Make sure both the TV and the phone are using the same wi-fi
Step 2 - On the TV, go to Fire Stick settings, switch mirroring on
Step 3 - On the phone, go to Smart View, let it locate the Fire Stick device, select it

Er, that's about it really. Whatever you see displayed on your phone, you'll also see displayed on your TV

Five minute job

Sorry, thanks, should have been clearer, baby in the house. How do you watch for free on your phone?

I've got BT broadband but cancelled Sport, on the App you can watch catch up stuff but not live channels

I suspect they are going to provide you with a one day login to use.

If you use a Microsoft laptop download the BT sport app in the Microsoft store. You just need a HDMI cable between laptop and TV then you are good to go. Easy

I've got BT broadband but never ordered Sport. Must have loaded the app on my phone when Sport was just starting up and was free. Opted out when it went to £5 a month. But I've still got the app on my phone, and just checked, I'm able to watch the live channels fine. Pretty sure I saw t'other day that BT broadband customers can watch live for free on their phone, but not on TV unless you pay for their TV app. Hence the need for a workaround. Maybe try accessing the live channels on your phone, see how it goes?

*edit* found the bit about free bt sport i was talking about above

Remember that BT Sport is also available to watch for free online at btsport.com and via the BT Sport app on your smartphone or tablet for all BT Broadband customers.

I was going to come on here and ask if anyone fancied going halves on a month pass (you can watch on 2 screens).

But if anyone now finds themself with a spare pass I'd be very grateful!

PM me if you can help with either...

No. Story on Albion site says it's app only - eg Smart TV, mobile, computer.

...tablet

Also on the Brighton site

Details of a similar offer for Sky Sports broadcast games via NOW TV for season ticket holders will also be revealed shortly.

Excellent. My LG TV has the app built in but it just needs a login so assume the club will be emailing me mine and I'm good to go.

Are you sure?

I've got a newish LG TV and its not in the LG store or already installed.

It is installed on Samsung TVs.

Reading online would seem to confirm this.

(Talking about BT app not Now Tv which is on LGs)

Are STH's getting a refund on their ticket? Because if you are then shouldn't MyAlbion members be getting the same deal? I just paid my annual subscription after all
Yes, STH get refunds.

It possibly depends on the deal that the PL made with BT Sports ? Maybe that specified STHs ?

It's not clear if this is organised by the PL or by the Albion.
