GPott certainly rates BDB higher than he does Monty.

If it were possible to play Bernie Inn at right back I reckon he'd have had considerably more game time this season.

As said previously straight after Lamptey and BDB have played together, something I absolutely NEED to see, I will be quietly stepping away from the BDB-Bus.
The joy of his marauding attitude is beginning to wane as end product has been less than forthcoming.

there is room for all three :D:thumbsup:

They are not as invincible at home as they are away.

Newcastle 0-2 (27% possession ) and Southampton 0-1 (52% possession) have both beaten them using very different tactics so there is more than one way to blunt a blade.

I think we should take the game to them with some pace. We need need to freshen up our defence and get them playing Potterball again.

Let’s shake the team up with two debuts and drop the likes of Groß, Troß & Mooy who were not great against Watford.

————————-Ryan———————
Lamptey—Webster—Dunk—Bernardo
———Stephens———Pröpper———-
-Jahanbakhsh—Mac Allister—Alzate-
———————-Maupay——————-

I’d play a very different team against Palace but I think this very youthful starting 11 could give Sheff Utd a lot to think about.

West Ham should have been them too but got screwed on VAR.

At the end of my tether
Lots of people are putting faith in Lamptey, an untried , 5ft 4inch teenager with only one substitute appearance in the Prem. (To the best of my knowledge )
I know he has been given Bruno's squad number, but Bruno he aint........yet .

Agreed, we’re getting a bit carried away. That said it would be nice to see him make the bench and get a run out.

I don’t think you can make your Chelsea debut as a young kid, with all the talent they have without having something a bit special about you.

WOW just WOW

No idea how good or quick the opposition players are in that clip but the low centre of gravity, pace and ball skills make him possibly the most exciting Brighton signing I have seen for years. Gets stuck in too.

Nope, I am not going to get too excited until I’ve seen him play for the Albion, let it be today please!

Some of the turns and acceleration away from players are almost Maradonaesque. I am getting carried away here aren’t I?

No wonder Chelsea were so reluctant to let him leave

Nope.

There is a reason he has not been near our U23s. He is no Yapi or Richards (who came here after 1st team football from possibly the two richest clubs in the world). He’ll start or be a sub today. You could tell Potter had been very impressed at the press conference.

Chelsea’s problem is that they think Reece James might be better, they made their choice them Tariq made his.

He is an exciting young seagull now looking to take flight, once he starts soaring, the sky is the limit!

dont matter
————————Ryan———————-
———Duffy——Dunk——Burn————
Schelotto———-Alzate—————March
————-Pröpper———Bernardo———
———————MacAllister——————-
———————Maupay————————

Subs
Button
Montoya
Webster
Stephens
Mooy
Jahanbaksh
Murray

13 days later, I’m sticking with this starting XI but Bissouma and Lamptey on bench in place of Montoya & Stephens.

Surely Maupay and Mac have to play? We’ve been very lacklustre up front and in attack midfield for a while now.

I wiil genuinely scream if I see Murray paired with Gross again
Stephens with Prooper will crush my mojo

Agree could be blue skies ahead for him and us.

Lamptey is he ready yet? GP is the only person who may know the answer certainly nobody on here.
Alzate, March Jahanbakhsh all good subs but not to start I would prefer Murray up front against a physical side rather than Maupay.

I would prefer pace against their three big lumps

I’m fine with Murray or Maupay. But both need support.

I rate March and Alzate, and Jahanbakhsh has surprised me with his quality since his comeback, plus he appears to have strengthened for the rigours of our football.
