Fiveways
------------------- Ryan ---------------------
Montoya -- Duffy -- Dunk -- Bernardo
Lamptey -- Alzate -- Propper -- March
------------ McAllister/Mooy --------------
---------------- Murray ----------------------

Subs: Button, Webster, Bissouma, McAllister/Mooy, Trossard, Maupay, Connolly

Duffy and Murray keep their place because of the physicality of the opposition. Double up with pace down the wings, and with the wide midfielders instructed to tuck in if necessary. Maupay, Trossard and, if necessary, McAllister to come off the bench in the last half hour to pose different problems.

Why do you have Mooy playing completely out of position?

I'll be disappointed if Duffy, Burn, Solly and Alzate aren't amongst the starting 11 for the battle at Sheffield. Not a day for Trossard, Gross, Scheletto, Jahanbaksh to start.

Since its been so long since the last game its very difficult both to predict and to wish for something unless you've been watching the training sessions for the last two weeks... but I hope Maupay will be back in the eleven.

Ok fck this.

If Stephens is injured I want this eleven:

Ryan

Webster, Dunk, Burn

Lamptey, Alzate, Pröpper, Mooy, Bernardo

Trossard, Maupay

Though really wouldnt mind seeing Maupay - Murray start up front either.

Frankly, anything could happen. But this is what I would choose;

Ryan
Webster Duffy Dunk
Montoya Stephens Pröpper Bernardo
Gross Mac Allister
Murray

Subs Button; Burn; Alzate, Mooy, Trossard, Jahanbakhsh; Maupay

Great to see a specialist, Bernardo, down our left.

In the Amex fixture, Baldock and his wide right team-mate dominated us from the first minute down that flank.

Here
Sheff U will be too quick to close down and too strong all over the pitch so it doesn't really matter who we put out imho.

Albion fans tomorrow are going to see the immense talent of Sander Berge running the game. Pace, power, he has it all.

Kiss of death but been pretty average from what I've seen of him at sheff utd.

Brilliant at Genk in the CL, he’s already transformed Sheffield United into a team that doesn’t forfeit possession, they have more strings to their bow.

By 5 tomorrow we’ll find out if Propper, Alzate and one other, had out fought and out thought Berge, Norwood and Fleck.

Hopefully you’re right, and we’ve taken 3 points. I’d be pleasantly surprised.

In front of that, perm any two from five! Personally I'd go for Murray, with Connolly to do the running for him.

...... and no, I haven't the foggiest idea how we squeeze Mac Allister in there!

If we stay up Potters methods will be right but do we think it helps changing side every game. When was last time he picked same side. ? Outfield players apart from Dunk, Propper , Webster until last game and Stephens have any idea if they will play. Nothing to do with form because several have had good games and then left out.
Spoke to a business contact who is a ST holder at Southampton who said there change of fortune came when he kept roughly same team.

The dropping of Alzate and Bernardo is unfathomable. Both consistently outstanding performers.
