Has been such a wet autumn/winter. But we haven't had it half as bad as up north though, which seems mad

But they’re tougher than us so can cope, don’t moan, pull together as communities...

There's got to be more disruption to non-league and kids' football this weekend as doubt many of the pitches can take that much more rain and still be playable.

Already off in Sussex:

Eastbourne Borough v Wealdstone in the National South
Chichester City v Hastings United in the Isthmian South East
East Grinstead Town v Cray Valley PM in the Isthmian South East

Get em out there and toughen em up. For the full mud bath Somme experience, add some high explosive, a Vickers and change the refs whistle to a Hudson metropolitan. Have fun!

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
2 more in the Isthmian Premier off affecting Sussex sides:

Bognor Regis Town v Bishop's Stortford
Enfield Town v Lewes

Looking at the amount of games postponed in the National North, Northern Premier, Northern North West and Northern North, I can only surmise it's grim up north.

Brilliant sketch! Which series was that, recognise actors but was that the Goon show?

Going by wiki, it was 1967 on the 'At Last the 1948 Show'. Starring Feldman, Cleese, Chapman and Brooke-Taylor.

Our country has churned out by these lunatic, imaginative geniuses, imho topped by Spike Milligan.

Just been listening to Spikes’ My part in his downfall audio. Very funny indeed. Bless him and Harry S.

Back to topic, wet and breezy in RH20, just like it has been for the past 2 months. No Cows flying past our windows as yet.

It's been quite pleasant in Northumberland, to be fair. A bit blowy here and again, but nothing like the apocalypse projected for elsewhere.
