Is there anyway to see what position I'm in? When I log in to my account I can't find any info on my position. I've only been on since last August - but just curious to know what chance I have of getting a season ticket for next year.

Cheers.

If we get relegated, a very strong chance.

If not...

A friend of a friend got a season ticket last August. He was on the waiting list over a year. I may be wrong, but I think he knew what number he was in the queue. I should see him there Saturday so will ask him if no one else here knows.

So from this it seems I'm position 7465. Hmnnn, think it'll be a few years unless we go down. Still I live abroad at the moment, although seems like I'll be back for August. May just have to attend on a game by game basis for now :(

That's not the case given we have to renew long before we know which division we'll be in.

Yes, good point.

I got mine during the Hypia years. The club saw I was a semi-regular and wrote suggesting I get a season ticket. How times change.

Yes, l was going to say, it would be quite a commute from San Jose every other week, if you were given a season ticket straight away.

It’s great that so many people want to come (assuming we’re the main attraction and not the more illustrious of the visiting teams), but imagine being on the end of that queue. It was probably a shorter wait to get a Trabant in 1970s West Germany (three years).

Time to shift the TV screen from the rear of the North Stand, remove the back walls, and add a safe standing area for another few hundred fans.

Many people ahead of the OP on the waiting list, will probably require more than just one seat, so it could well be that when single seats come up, he can jump ahead and be offered one first, thereby shortening the wit time.

I'd give up on safe standing if l were you, anyway where exactly do you propose moving the back walls to?

By remove I meant knock down.

You could put seats in there, too, of course.

Thanks. Anyone know approx how many ‘new’ season tickets get awarded each year? I’m currently still in the 4000s on the waiting list

When I joined the waiting list a couple of years ago I was around 7,600. At the start of last season I was around 4,300 and thought I might have to wait at least another season.

BUT ... before the end of last season I got an email from the club saying I 'might' be in with a chance for this season. They requested a £50 'commitment' fee (deducted from the season ticket price if I got one or refunded if not). I think this knocked out some people that thought they'd put their name on the waiting list as it costs nothing - but when it came to it they bowed out. So I got my season ticket and have renewed for next season (irrespective of which league we'll be playing in.

On that basis you might be in with a shot ... so if you are serious about getting one and they do the £50 commitment fee again ... go for it!

:lolol: Expecting our first child at the beginning of June and relocating back to Brighton (for most of the time). Still own a business here so will miss most of the January games each year as that's our busiest time, but really looking forward to it! When I last lived locally I was a poor student so could never afford a season ticket and would just do a handful of away games a year, or stand and watch from Withdean Road (Withdean years) or a couple of trips to the Amex.

I had that but didn't get offered one, then the club forgot to refund the £50 until I reminded them last month.
