Didn't Trossard hit the bar, Murray have one saved and just miss out on lobbing Pickford?

I think we need a hold up Murray type striker if we can get the right one (plenty of expensive flops around the PL prove finding one who works in a given team isn't easy), but, as ever, don't think slagging off our own players on line or at the game is a very helpful way of supporting our club...

But without Ings they would be below us I reckon, he has 14 goals with Ward-Prowse trailing on 4.

Not to bothered about today as it was a bonus hit with an inform side.

Let's beat Villa though.

Whether it be Hughton or Potter, at Goodison, Spuds, Stamford Bridge or Kingpower, they can always bank on slow and toothless Brighton playing them back into form. Every time. Whist other bottom half clubs can upset them at home.

Three points against Villa is an absolute must looking at our remaining fixtures.

Interesting to see if TB gets quality players in on loan this month. He’d be desperate for us to avoid Championship football, with our huge cost base,

Losing is shit.

Does my head in that palace are absolute **** but are able to eke out points while we can't. We need to start getting some undeserved points. We've given plenty away so it's about time we started stealing some for ourselves.

Can't complain about the effort, we just lacked quality today.

The same could be said about Leicester v Southampton. Other teams seem to go away and get the odd result! Today and most away days we never looked interested in getting a result! You have to question the players motivation!

Its hard to disagree with that. We appear to go through the motions, especially the midfield

Luck is not with us at the moment

Can someone explain why a tactic of closing down and pressing, that we know that works, is only used by us in the last 30 minutes when we are one goal down?

Why not try, just for once, doing it from the kick off in the first half?
Or is there a fitness issue?

I feel sorry for the travelling Albion fans, having to travel to that dump and watch us play utter shite....

The numbers travelling (apart from London matches) are at a fraction of the excited number doing so in 2017/18. A combination of; they ticked off the stadia and why travel to see almost certain losses.

I refer you to post #365.

I'm close to opening my Harry Wilson "ignore account" on this ****.

This was all very predictable.

Everton were close to top of form table. And have done well since booting out the old manager. They are also a decent home team.

Worrying that we depend so much on mooy now if he's not fit next week I can't see us beating villa
