As others have said he directly contributed to 4 incredibly valuable points, last season, and larruped us towards Wembley.

Not something the likes of Kemy, loanee Leon not the, Danny Holler (sp) who I quite liked, Elvis, et al can claim.

14 million big ones though. Kemy was indeed a disgrace but didn’t he come on a free? Or not much.
Worst signing has to be measured on contribution and outlay.

A few off the top of my head which have been pretty woeful :

Chris O'Grady
Adam Chicksen
Adrian Colunga
Kemy Agustien
Stephen Dobbie
Will Hoskins
Roland Bergkamp
Fran Sandaza
Liam Dickinson

and worst for value currently has to be Locadia

Mr Bloom might have looked at Big Jurg's 4 points (yes I know they aren't his 4) differently as he cashed this season £100,000,000 cheque.

Arguably his goals kept us up last season though. For me it was CMS given who we lost when we got him. An upmarket but still not top of the Championship quality Alex Revell, and let’s not forget he was our record signing by some margin when he came here. He certainly wound me up with his ball control more than any other player in this decade, probably because of the price tag and that he wasn’t a patch on Murray.

Cms = most disappointing given the expectation.
I watched him at Peterborough and he was a different player

I've just discovered that Tommy Fraser was the grandson of Richardson Gang enforcer Mad Frankie Fraser. I had no idea.

According to The Sun when Tommy was asked by a local Brighton-based journalist if his granddad ever attended his games, Fraser replied: "No, but he reads your reports and he was unhappy you only gave me six out of 10 last week." It was said that Fraser was never rated less than 7/10 by the local paper again.
I'm sure I remember a chant about it..............

Locadia came as the vital striker we had been waiting for and then scored against Coventry in the cup shortly after returning from injury, however I've never seen a player look so uncomfortable on a football pitch almost like he won it as a prize to a competition he entered.

Very happy if he doesn't return and join in with Potterball

Wow, you’ll be telling us about the big bang and something called the wheel next.

Big Jurg’s four points in his seven-day purple patch. Yeah, they proved important.
I think I’m right in saying he is doing well in Germany . Maybe we can get £10m back for him.
I fear he’ll be palmed off on a free

You could argue that about any goal scored.

Locadia is awful, but you hit an interesting point CMS or Locadia.......

I was excited about CMS, couldn’t have been more wrong, and the Murray factor makes it worse.

Kemy for me followed by Elvis.

Somewhat doubt it [emoji2][emoji6]

Disappointed Danny Holla is getting a mention though, not great but really not terrible like some of those mentioned

He's scored 4 in 10.

when he arrived Hoffenheim were just above relegation, now they are 1 point from Europe.
Obviously that's no more down to Big Jurg as the 4 points I'm attempting to shoehorn into his defence (cos Big Jurg, is my guy - history suggests it was always going to end badly  )

But if you think the Albion can get £10m back from a £15m outlay on a player who has some upsides, shirley it's then tough to view him as the Albion's worst signing of the decade?

Although I don’t rate him (sorry, I really don’t).

There is no way he’s even in the top 10 of worst signings, even taking into amount money paid IMO.

I don’t know why people are obsessed with the transfer price of a player as the dominant factor when assessing success, perhaps it’s because the Premier League’s worst signing of the decade (Barndoor Benteke) cost £30m+?

Big Jurg has some great highlights, his performance against Coventry, assist against Palace and some other run outs such as at home to Arsenal.

I’d look at the effect of a signing more than the fee. We signed O’Grady to replace Ulloa, that heavily contributed to almost costing us a place in the Championship along with Hyypiä and most of the recruitment team losing their jobs. I met Chris and he was an exceptionally humble and nice guy but ‘League 1’ at best sadly. But O’Grady is my nomination as he simply could not fill the boots of Leo.

Kemy, Ryan Harley & Elvis are my top 3.

Lots of players that weren't great (O'Grady, Colunga), some that were just unlucky (Hoskins could have been brilliant if he wasn't made of polystyrene) but their commitment couldn't be questioned.

Our loans have been far worse - Barn Door Billy, Leon Best, ****ing AKPOM
