Smarkets just now:

1/2 on the Conservatives gaining an overall majority (326+ seats).

3/1 Corbyn PM.

25/1 Labour most seats.

But aren't the only two that matter Tory majority v Hung parliament?

(Or border in the Irish sea v 2nd referendum) or however else you want to describe it

Yes, those first two, are in effect a binary ‘2 horse race’.

I bunged in the additional long odds bet, as there are still quite a few NSC Corbynista’s confident that 3 millions shy Labour voters will swing this into glory tonight. Tempting odds?

We have to just hope and pray that enough people see sense to return a Tory majority even if it is only about 4 seats but an overall majority.none the less.

I'm sure you lose a marble as each day goes by.
You will be 'happy' having Boris Johnson as Prime Minister of this country backed by that cabinet.
You must be even more insane than I thought.
Have you been asleep for the past 9 years or do you just not care about people who are far more worse off than you.
Have you not worked out yet that he is a lying, uncaring, racist clown, that can't be trusted to run a bath.
You clearly don't care about anyone else except yourself.

Define Sense, and how seeing should persuade people to vote Tory?

I'm hoping - quite possibly in vain - for quite a different outcome.

I have lived through 4 Labour Prime Ministers with their governments and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy unfortunately the young, who Corbyn is targeting, haven't and do not know any better. They believe that the grass will be greener

Sadly there are many people who don't see or feel the decline, despair and inequality in our society.

Without wishing to also draw your disdain. There’re another line of thinking I’ve heard so much this week on the TV and also from folk through work. Voters saying with some pain, “it’s the lesser of two evils, I’m not voting to let Corbyn and his policies in.” I was with people today who are Remainers, can’t stand Redwood and IDS, but simply don’t want above all else the agenda in the Labour manifesto. Not the good bits such as NHS and Education, but their stance on inheritance tax, corporation tax, etc. Fearful that businesses will simply relocate HQ’s to friendly Ireland, Netherlands and so on.

The British in the main, have always been selfish when it comes to elections and budgets, weighing up their lot. That’s why none of the parties come clean and say we’re going to raise taxes not insignificantly for most people by this means, but it will finance this. At the last election I think, the LibDems nervously announced plans to raise income tax for all by 1%, which was not a vote winner.

Yes.
Edward Heath, John Major, David Cameron and Theresa May, fabulous weren't they.
And then you have Margaret Thatcher, the most devisive PM we have ever had, split the country in two and finally got thrown out by her own party.
But due to sinking a ship she is probably your hero.
Labour in the 70's was not great but that was over 50 years ago, today we are still led by incompetent clowns and they are Conservative and we have just suffered 9 years of unnecessary austerity.

No party will win the election because no party will get 50%+1 of the vote.

So parliament, as on most occasions, will not be representative.

Strange logic, leaving the eu and years of uncertainty is surely going to have a greater effect on business

Every now and again you reveal what a sad little hateful person you are. Go for it. Like I'm going to be bothered what you say. :lolol:

The abusive, insulting and intolerant behaviour shown by you and some others on the left during the last few months and the election campaign has been nothing short of disgraceful. You deserve nothing but contempt, and a Tory victory will make it so much sweeter were it to occur.

I, too, have lived through 4 labour prime ministers and would prefer ANY of them to the current bunch of clueless and moronic lying toerags who would be returned to government by a conservative majority.... which I will fear will happen. Do you actually believe anything that Johnson says?
