FULL-TIME
Watford 0-0 Crystal Palace

Thankfully, it's all over.

It really was as bad as the stats suggest!

Yet many on here are arguing about how we beat Arsenal.

I assume tomorrow we're cheering on:-

Leicester
Norwich
Southampton

In readiness for an Albion win.

A 37.25/1 accumulator.

Good set of results. Everton were never going down. Be happy with a draw tomorrow

With the barometer of relegation at 9/1 for us, 10th favourite's for the drop. The markets assess 9 clubs as being in more **** than us.
With potentially 3 of them ahead of us in the table.

My god, watched Watford v Palace today, 2 very poor sides, how are Palace in top half of table. Other observations, Cahill is a class player, looks like their best player. Zaha could have been sent off for his petulanace and responses. They
Have some very average players. Looked a relegation dog fight to me.

I watched the Watford/palace game, I thought Watford were the better team in a very poor match.

Palace are playing the way every Hodgson team has ever played. Staid, percentage football. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
It’s why Liverpool sacked him off within 6 months and why the interest in the national team plummeted during his tenure.

The simple answer is Roy Hodgson who is a brilliant coach.

Yes, his football is horrible. In Sweden he is known as "the man who changed Swedish football" with his extremely systematic and disciplined football. Swedish teams performed better than ever in Europe, and teams led by Roy Hodgson or Bob Houghton won Allsvenskan almost every year 1977-1989. Meanwhile average attendences dropped from 8733 when Hodgson came in 1977 to 4211 when he finally left in 1989.

Genius football killer. In Crystal Palace he seems to have a lot more power than in his earlier English clubs so I think Crystal Palace will stay in the Premier League as long as he is around.

Regarding CP’s trademark (for 7 seasons) steal a winner on the counter tactic, which so often works away, could you see what Pearson did to negate that?
Whenever Zaha got the ball they'd foul him if you can call that a tactic. In all fairness they didn't really need to do much, palace were very poor.
