Hard to pick a winner out of all the condescension on Owlstalk, but this will do:

I live in Worthing.

I have been to Brighton’s ground a few times. The 1-0 win when Giles Coke got the winner.

All the other times have been in the home end as a neutral and I really do know a team with a poorer atmosphere. The average fan is late 40s, knows one chant and could bore Ned Flanders to death.

Stadium has comfortable seats, but feels like a lego set. There is nothing I really like about Brighton. They’ve done well with a wealthy backer, but they, like Bournemouth and the other minnows, won’t be top flight forever. And once they are down, they’ll not be back anytime soon.

Jealousy... Hillsborough is quieter than the emirates...

Also.. we have a wealthy owner.. who didn’t cheat and who hasn’t just been charged by the efl for dodgy dealings... I’m amazed it’s taken this long to charge them... Dodgy as hell and still can’t get promoted...

So, the Massive fans aren’t happy with the draw?

Understandable, as we haven’t lost to a non PL team at home in the FA Cup since the 2007/08 season.

I don’t know if there’s much appetite for it, but surely now’s the time to get a singing section going next to the away fans for change. People have talked about getting the 2/3 North Stand singing groups together for ages. Well, now’s our chance.

We probably won’t sell many tickets and the North might not even be opened. So, instead of the singers getting tickets down the opposite end of the ground in W1I (like I’ve seen and barely heard in previous cup games) how about we all get together and get a bit of banter going with the away fans.

Just imagine us scoring and getting to rub it into their fat ****ing faces.

I went to Hillsborough once, for a midweek league match against Oldham in the early 90s (long story!) and it was quite loud. Mind you, they were play crowd noises through the PA...........................

Last time was one of my favourite games in recent years.

Thanks for the reminder, just put the highlights on. Back when we were playing for more than just staying up. Those two seasons were amazing.

Apologies if fixtures and all, but why are all the games due to KO at 1 minute past 3pm?

Are the FA *planning* a minute's silence for the death of a royal that hasn't a tally happened yet?

I'm not too sure what you're issue is as that looks like a fair assessment to me.

Maybe if we put USB chargers in the away end, they would be happier as they could shine their mobile lights for the whole game.

It is as bad a draw as Sheffield Wednesday could have got.

It's a reasonable one for us.

Loads of football to played between now and then, but I hope the team for the game is made up of senior players, with possibly one or two youngsters off the bench.

My crystal ball expectation is that we'll need to play the full first team - who are still trying to regain a modicum of confidence having not won a match since November 2nd and now firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.

Albion bigwigs are rueing the rash decision to give Harry Potter (and his entire back room staff) an unprecedented six year contract and are double checking the maximum pay-off they'll really be committed to.

Either that or, it's all gone so swimmingly throughout December and following our crushing victory over the Europa League Champions and title pretenders Chelsea on New Year's Day (even despite one of the centre halves turning up a lickle bit pissed from the night before), Potter is scouring the Under 12s team to check who might need some big time experience in front of a huge crowd who have been hoodwinked into paying £15 to watch the children.

It cannot possibly go wrong.

It’s condescending bollocks.

We’re really minnows are we?

We get bigger crowds than them and they haven’t been in the top division for nearly 20 years.

A lot of what he said was nonsense.

A lot of what he said was nonsense.
But we are Premier League minnows who are unlikely to be in the top flight 'forever'.
While statistically a swift return seems unlikely.

Our atmosphere can be appalling. (as well as nerve jangling 12th mantastic).

Sure we know more than one song - what are we up to now 3, when Bissouma is in the squad?

At no point, in the quote referenced, does the person mention or compare the Albion with Massive.

Take the rosy specs off and see it for what it is.
