While they are waiting for planning permission to build a new Main Stand, how about they improve the view from the Arthur Wait.
Surely a new roof without the girders and gantry would go down well with both home and away fans alike.
What they paying Benteke a year should cover the cost.

Ain’t that the truth.

Just getting rid of the ridiculous full length gantry would significantly improve the matchday experience for about 7,500 fans.

Providing facilities that, at the very least, meet EU regulations for the transportation of animals would be a nice bonus.

It’s shit, infinitely worse than your new ground.

And? :D

Maybe Sainsbury’s should apply for a compulsory purchase order on Selhurst so they can extend their frozen food aisle.

You do realise the land was sold by Raymond Bloye, a figure that, in our history, we’d have “built a bonfire for”?

Never heard of him. He could still have raised plenty with a lease though. Hindsight and all but look what it would have avoided.

So if clubs can raise plenty, why didn’t your owners take the lease option rather than sell the Goldstone from under your feet?

Jeez It was 1972, the whole concept of property ownership was completely different back then.

Our owner back then was an utter ****, as was yours.

PALACE WANT SAINSBURY'S DISCOUNT
Crystal Palace have held talks with Croydon Council over applying for a compulsory purchase order to secure a piece of land next to Selhurst Park owned by Sainsbury's, whose refusal to sell an area used as a car park is delaying the club's £100m redevelopment of the ground.

The club have been negotiating with the supermarket for years after announcing plans to increase the capacity of Selhurst Park from 26,000 to 34,000 in 2017.

Palace claim Sainsbury's are demanding an unreasonable price and want the council to intervene and force through the sale on grounds that the redevelopment would bring a public benefit by enabling the club to expand their community programmes.

Croydon Council have recommended that planning permission be granted, but Palace must obtain control of the entire site before it can be formally approved.

Fans now talking about boycotting Sainsbury's to 'force' them to sell. I'm just popping off to Sainsbury's to get my lunch to bump the price up further!

I'm sure they could come to some kind of solution if they put their heads together.

Because they wanted to kill the club. There was no tomorrow as far as ******** was concerned. It’s not a difficult concept to understand!
Noades just wanted some additional revenue .......

Just wait for the goonsquad to say otherwise though.

We all know it's a £300 million white elephant, they've told us enough. It's wonky and we will never fill it once the first season euphoria of having a new stadium has worn off. Words I hope they heed when they finally build their replica of the West Stand.

What about 10th season syndrome next year ?

It would be nice if, just for once, a palace fan came on here and 'owned' it.
Everyone can see club for what they are, none of the general shitehouseary is the fault of the fans.
To that ends we are all one of the same.

Yet all we get from them is a long and tiresome bibbling spoon fed straight from Parish and all his falseness.
A man who appears to be out of his depth, (in fairness to him) for all the right reasons.

- The US owners didn't arrive as saviours of the club.
- There never was any 'ring fenced' money.
- Work on one stand was never going to begin a year ago.
- The rest of the ground is not worthy of Premier League football.
- There are many hugely paid passengers in your team, let alone squad. (which will finish above us)
- The next owners are unlikely to bring about wholesale changes.
- Your 'atmosphere' isn't worth the baggage the always bring with them.

Perhaps a Palace fan who was slung out of their season ticket seat by the hoodies ? ???

Not a new stadium, just a stand.
