and after we managed to get a TD from the run and everything.

edit: can't say I'm surprised though, something is obviously wrong with the team that goes deeper than playing personnel imo.

Adam Gase could be next - the Jets fans are baying for blood after their 4th loss on the trot

Broncos manage to avoid going 0-5 for the first time in franchise history with a win against the Bolts.

I think the best way to describe the Browns this morning is "consistently inconsistent"

Recorded the game last night, saw the result (& Mayfields horrible stats) when I woke up, deleted the game, & just watched the 10 min highlights on YT.

From what I saw it still seems that Mayfield is trying too hard for the home run ball instead of checking down underneath etc. but almost every pass play seems to go - *Snap the ball, drop back, pressure, roll right, hopeful 20yd pass down the sideline* this season.

The OL really isnt helping though as he has no time to set himself, but thats where you need your outlet to dump it off to. Nothing wrong with dinking & dunking up the field if necessary.

Seahawks & Patriots up next..... *sigh*

REALLY looking forward to it. Seattle starting to come together nicely, and this is one of the few Seahawks games in a season that’s on at a reasonable time for me to watch (9pm).

Two very dodgy 'roughing the passer' calls that let to two game winning field goals - fine margins.

The Broncos have shown consistent improvement despite clear deficiencies in the roster - it is a testament to the coaching staff.

Flacco has been solid, but getting no love.

Jay Gruden was summonsed to his 5am 'breakfast' meeting almost straight after Sunday's game.

So he thought oh well didn't bother going home.
Cleared out his office, got a couple of hours kip on the sofa then went across the hall for the news.

Stay classy Skins!

12:30am over here and it's still going on. Worth staying up for though.

Meanwhile the Texans get a huge win on the road at Arrowhead against the Chiefs having been down 17-3.

Yup, not quite sure why it finished 30+ minutes later than all the other 9pm KOs, but hey! Not the best game for quality, but exciting enough - and a solid comeback from Seattle, after the Browns had scored touchdowns on their first three possessions.

Very happy with 5-1. We’re finding ways to win, and that counts for a lot.
