I really hope White continues to improve over the season. If he does he'll have a huge chance of being a starting premier league footballer next year.

As much as I hate to say it (as I bloody love the big man) but if we're going to be selling a defender for 20m+ it makes more sense to sell Duffy before he becomes a forgotten man. He doesn't appear to fit with Potter's style and with White and possibly Clarke coming through we'd still have ample defensive options.

Falmer, soon...
At the end of the season Spurs are likely to lose their two starting centre-backs. Arsenal are weak in central defence, Man United need someone to play alongside Harry Maguire and Liverpool are wanting someone to play with VVD.
The bids will be way more than £20m for any of Dunk, Burn, White or Webster.
What a position to be in.
It's almost as if we could do with a poker player to handle the situation. Oh hang on!

Makes you wonder why the albion have been stacking young english centre backs in the previous window doesn't it? :)

He was bought as a defender.which is what he is failing at not a goalscorer.

I shall give you that amazing quote from football. "You're only good as your last game." Our last game, he helped keep a clean sheet against last season's Champions League Runners Up.

It has apparently been installed by NSC - to quote the warning: "This website (i.e. NSC) is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks."

..........and is it such a terrible thing to remove a £ sign?

Sorry for going all BG on the tech side but if it's been installed by NSC why does it not apply to everyone. I've had no issues on laptop or mobile so do I need to do something so that I can get the issue and demand action is taken.

A game BG has expunged from his memory.

Going by the other people who have come on to the Gyokeres thread expressing the same problem, it appears that only IE is affected.

Yes, IMHO on his showing so far this season, he was over priced and we were taken advantage of.because of ours or TBs reputed wealth. IIRC we paid about £3m for Burn last season and I wouldn't say there is much to chose between them

So, Webster has made 6 appearances for us, only two at home, the draw against Burnley where he was up against Barnes and Woods, and your team at home who have Englands Harry Kane up front who didnt get a sniff all game, and your convinced we paid too much for him.
Thank god we have Potter and Ashworth and not you as a head scout/technical director/manager.

He was abysmal for the first 20 mins but improved. Thankfully Spurs were very poor for 90 minutes due to the performances of Mooy, Gross Stephens and Alzate. To answer roger six I do not think that Spurs would be interested in Duffy and would suggest Leeds more likely if we recalled Ben White. As per my posting on another thread I think that during the summer, or possibly January, 2 of Duffy, Burn and Balogun will be sold.
