Spitting Image must think so - they've already made his puppet:

I think all can unite around one desperate national crisis.

The need for the return of Spitting Image.

Just popped in to check if the gloomerati who were bigging up the recent 0.2% contraction in the economy as the sign we were on the brink of a Brexit recession have been on saying how relieved they are at the latest figures showing 0.3% growth ...... no? .... imagine my surprise.

Even if Q3 registered a 0.3% growth, it would still be the weakest first three quarters of a year since the financial crisis.

Seems weird to be quite so upbeat about that.

Even his lickers admit he might sometimes be a little on the smug side, a grin after each comment. As for upstart, he really DID have an over inflated view of himself.

Blimey that is stingy almost to the point of being passive aggressive.........

I see you are totally unrepentant. You might just prefer to hope (Andrea Leadsom like) that the next Speaker holds the same political views as you.....

Couldn't give a toss on political views, just smugness and self-importance are not part of the job description. Could have the next one a bit taller though......

The opposite is no sense of self importance and failure to uphold the house rules letting MP's run riot.

The timing is absolutely fabulous. Pre-determined decision stretchign back to 2017 that he wold leave before the next election, done in such a way the incoming government is stuck with whoever THIS parliament chooses, when they have no MAJORITY.

Bravo Mr Speaker, Bravo

Ah well. He's going now. Betty would never have acted in such a spannerish manner.

A Leave enthusiast making discriminatory remarks based on style and physical appearance rather than substance? Surely not......
