As I said at the top of the thread, Headingley often flattens out and with sunny weather and cracks up later. Against pacemen the going is easier once the new ball has been seen off but the ball is turning a lot here.

It would be a surprise to see the pace attack as erratic as they were so it could go back to attrition. Stokes can cope with that but Bairstow can get caught in two minds.

I don't know which way this is going but an England victory will be as good for the longer format as the Windies was in 2017.
