I said the same earlier in the thread and got battered for it. I stand my ground! Conveniently, SE20 or whatever his name is called me an idiot for it. He hasn't commented on the screenshot. Selective...

Probably afraid the hooded masses will track him down if he posts anything out of order.........

Arsenal wanted him on hp ( they’ve agreed a similar deal with Pepe, fee paid over 5 years) with a ridiculous down payment.
Everton have been chipping away , the last offer being £70 mill plus players.
Why would you make it easy to other clubs to buy your best player, when there is no need to sell?
Now the transfer request has gone in, it’s all changed.

£70mil plus those 2 was pie in the sky tabloid nonsense - you signed McCarthy today anyway so those reports were clearly bollocks & made up - as Everton confirmed. He’ll prob be off for £60mil max - a ridiculous fee for such an average player but that’s the market. And that £60mil is the prime reason we wouldn’t let Dunky go for less than £120mil which is our stance. Duffy £90mil.

Is a equally idiotic thing to say.
Happy ?

It won't be long before there's a daytime TV appeal advert in their benefit.

*Sombre Bach overture*

“Little Steve was born without any external genitalia...every time he reaches into his filthy pants when he dreams of ex Susannah Reid in her nuddy pants, he weeps with impotent rage...will you spare two pounds a month...just two pounds to buy a new tyre to fix Christian Bentekes wages wheelbarrow?

Just two pounds will help Steve to buy another ring for his fence to stop his hovel from collapsing around his ears and pay for another blow wave and some new Aldi self tan.

Please.

Thankyou.

Camarasa is a 12 month loan with a option to buy for €12.5 mill at the end of it.
Good player, standout player last season.

One of the stand out things he did last season was when he refused to play for Old Nana Warnock because he’d declared himself injured on the advice of some of his contacts from Spain. Here’s Nana on the incident:

"He's a very important player for us. It's been a really big disappointment if I'm honest," Warnock said.

"I've never come across the situation that I've got at the moment, which we're having physios and medical people from abroad more or less telling us what we can do with him when he's our player, so it's very difficult, not just for me but for the medical staff as well.

I think it's down to the player really.”

Looks exactly like the sort of player you like to sign. He’d fail our no dickhead policy but you lot seem to run an inverse system to ours!

I think he’ll go well with the German Messi and Barn-Door-Benteke. You must be so excited about the forthcoming season, no?

Rumours of a £200k a week deal probably helps.
I think he’s hoping someone else comes in tomorrow, but it’s a dangerous game to play.

I thought the same. Arsenal or Spuds, and he gets to stay in London.

But they’ve both spent record sums already (including a further £90m by Spuds today/tomorrow on Lo Celso and Sessegnon).

So it looks like Zaha will be teaming up with world class Michael Keane, Walcott and Delph.

That’s strange, Warnock gave him a glowing reference when contacted by Palace recently.

Its simply not market value for him then is it.

Its like if I was driving a rust-ridden, battered old 1984 Austin Allegro, and needed it to get to and from work. Its unreliable, keeps breaking down and is a complete and utter mess to look at, but I need it, and it just about does a job. Someone surprisingly and inexplicably comes round and offers me £500 for it, but I still turn the offer down flat and price it up at £2.5m. Is it worth that ? Obviously not. But I don't want to get the bus, and truth be known, I've grown quite fond of the scabby old thing. I'd only go and waste the £500 on drugs and fireworks anyway, so best I just keep hold of the old tub and crack on.

Thats effectively what Disney is doing.

The master of both similes AND metaphors.

Touché mon brave.

With VAR they're going to struggle, Mr tumble is going to find it much harder to cheat the numerous penalties per season he cheats, and the main profiteer Milojevic, is going to be the new Mr Tumble..... Only it will be his goals scored.

Unless Wilf can find a way to cheat the video ref as well as he's been able to cheat refs and fans for years..... You're screwed.

Wonder what Winefred is doing now? Smiling watching SSN tucked up in his (single) Arsenal duvet dreaming of Thursday evenings in Andora sporting the famous Everton blue? Ironing his pink Man Utd shirt? Posting cryptic social media messages then deleting them for more attention? Who ****ing knows...

What's the conventional wisdom as to how old a player can last before their top speed goes?

This weapon's biggest weapon is his (alleged) near Bolt acceleration and speed. When he loses that edge he will not be the difference between survival and relegation and his value will plummet. Keep him too long and the wankpuffins could look even bigger Rodney Plonkers.
