I like Stephens and contrary to the perceived wisdom I have seen that he has the ability to make quality passes forward, especially to the wings He didn’t do it much last season but with more players getting forward I think he’ll shine.
However as a right back I think he’d be an absolute liability with his penchant for diving into tackles. Penalty a game with him at RB imo.
I’m team Scheloto if he hasn’t lost his pace. When is he expected back?

True, CH’s most impressive player improvement by positional change. Solly really shone as a back up right back last season. He could play RB or RWB as well as winger imo.
Let’s hope Montoya doesn’t get injured!
Interesting Sanders played there once, but he would be effective as Stephens.
If the worst scenario occurred, I’d almost be tempted to persuade Bruno out of retirement.....

Could do, but one footed though. In recent times Rosenoir is the only one who has successfully played on his ‘wrong foot’ at LB.
Bernardo at Watford last year was a disaster.

I'd like to see a CM come in to put pressure on Stephens.
I think we'll at least be trying to get a CM, and I wouldn't be entirely shocked if our transfer record went again (pure guess).
