Can't say I'm blown away by it tbh. A fairly generic modern stadium design, not particularly imaginative. I'm filing it under 'meh'.

Yes, it looks quite nice, but my question is - is the cost of someone rowing you across the water to the stadium included in your match ticket?

With this new ground scheduled to be open in 2023 it does rather beg the question:-

Which will be opened first?

Everton's new stadium currently at the planning stage

or

palace's one stand for which "work will start at the end of 2018"?

Old stadiums had character, some shit views, some unsafe as hell, but they were specific and different and identified your club.
too many sole-less identikit bowls going on.
Is this really the best they can come up with for a club with such a high pedigree in the history of the English game.......what a load of @##;;

I disagree that this looks soulless. I think it's great and i like the Waterside position. Goodison has history but is an appalling ground.

I disagree. The next NFL stadium always seem innovative and completely different to what we've seen before in some way or another. Look at the Vikings, the Falcons, and next, when the Raiders move to Vegas .....

There isn’t a huge amount you can do with the inside of a stadium these days, spurs have done a great job with the standard bowl but the outside is very unimaginative.

I think this looks very unique from the outside to be honest. I don’t think it will ever be built, however.

I like the way they've tried to keep some elements of Goodison in there. But honestly, I'm pretty underwhelmed. It looks more like a shopping mall from the outside and St. Mary's from the inside.

Seeing what else has been done lately and given Everton's ambition, I don't think it's very impressive at all.
