[Help] Adding a Thumbs up

Pardon me for being a dummy, but could somebody explain the steps to add another thumbs up to a post that says exactly what I would have said.

I press on the green thumbs up and it changes to a red thumbs down..... the opposite of my intention ! ..... I click again and it thankfully reverts to a thumbs up, the same number.

Seems work for others... not me on different devices . Thanks.

When you click on it it turns red - that means you have registered your thumbs up - you can't do it again, so the only option is to remove it by hitting red (if you want to).

I tend to give thumbs up and then remove it because I see what an idiot I was and so full of bollox more often then I give the thumbs up and leave it as a thumbs up.
