Totally disagree. This club needs to be built on sustainable growth, not piss the money up the wall and hope it works. I'm impressed with the way Dick and Tony have been building a club out of the ashes of what Belotti and Archer did to us. I do not want to go that way again. If it means we can't pay the wages of overpaid footballers, then so be it. I'd be far happier supporting a club making profit every year (like Arsenal), playing impressive football (like Arsenal), but not winning any trophies (like Arsenal) and still remaining in the Prem. Tony has a vision and I'm along for the ride.

Take a quick look at the obscene amount of money Neymar will be receiving at Real - just wow. Football just cannot be THAT sustainable.

Did you watch any of the Arsenal Fans TV after our draw with them? You're unlikely to see a more angry, disillusioned bunch of fans and I expect things have worsened after their Baku drubbing from rivals Chelsea.

I love the drama of their broadcasts though. When a club’s dined nearly at the top table in Europe, then become a mediocre club making huge contract blunders, the pain seems far worse than our downs over the years in the lower leagues. Expectations.

Genuine question... when were we last involved in a completed swap deal?

Alan Nixon says we want him and will offer Christian Walton as part of the deal, Burnley are out of the chase.

I can believe the Walton element. He's due to be loaned out again this year.

Not convinced that Bogle is any good though.

Assuming that this is only a loan deal for Walton, how can this be wrong?
Pushing him into his highest profile team, hopefully for him pushing for promotion.
what better tweaking/honing of his talents ?
and in the deal we get at minimum fast cover for a position we are short in

U21 so wouldn't need to be in the 25 man squad.

This suggests we'd be going for a 24 man squad.

We have to keep an eye on next summer - no point in filling out the squad to 25 for the sake of it - in summer 2020 we'll have to squeeze Gyokeres, Mac Allister, Mlakar, and maybe even Tau ( ! ) into the 25. ( Tudor Baluta would still count as U21 ).

Alan Nixon’s record in calling our transfers is nearly as bad as Seagull Wedgee’s

Looks and sounds promising this kid. Will do as a deputy for a (hopefully) improved Montaya.

Wouldn't be surprised if he played quite a bit if he came here, otherwise why would you come here to sit on the bench every game when you could be playing every game in the Championship?

I had to stop reading that after the third graph as it suddenly became impossibly dull.

Alternatively you could snort a few lines till your nose bleeds and then spunk all you wages on a mad bet.

Anyway, apparently we're not interested at all according to BBC Derby on twitter.
