[Albion] Will Cardiff win their last two games?

Will Cardiff win both their remaining games?

If they draw with Palace its over. No chance that the goal difference will be overturned. CH is getting some stick on here from some, but one thing he still has is setting up a side that is hard to breakdown.

And yet it has been broken down pretty consistently of late

Is it compulsory to predict the outcome of games? I ask because everyone seems obliged to do it except me!
There are so many factors that can affect the outcome that I would never be tempted.

CP are simply a far better football team than Cardiff, with millions riding on as high a PL position as possible.

Cardiff are down.

Only a couple of million per spot, and I don't believe that motivates players. It is great for a club target, but I seriously doubt any player at any club goes onto the pitch toward the end of the season spurred on by the motivation that the club may get another 2 million (on top of the 130m they already have).

I'm not saying Cardiff will win both, just that winning both isn't as far-fetched as some are suggesting, that they don't have to turn into world-beaters with the two teams they have next.

Did somebody forget to remind Fulham, Southampton, Bournemouth and Cardiff how hard we are to break down? Asking for a friend.

That's the thing, the team were trying to be a bit more offensive in those games without too much success. Then it was back to basics when needs must against Wolves and Spurs.

They’re going down with the Fulham. The bookies have called it correctly.

CH was given the target this year to keep us in the Premier League. Nothing else mattered.
The changes that have gone on behind the scenes are all about building this club to be a stable Premier League club. They are laying the foundations for a sustainable infrastructure to support this and the youth, Ladies and all sides of the club.
This is a long term project by our boss. Yes TB is a fan but he ins’t a knee-jerk fan like most on here.
We all know he is a gambler but he plays the percentages and usually gets it right.
I feel very lucky to have TB as our owner.!

Why do you think the bookies have it as being very far fetched?

I think we will be safe but I have a nagging feeling it will not be until the final kick of the Citeh game when something like a mishit clearance will rebound off Murray's backside into their net, thus scraping us the point to survive :)

Confess that I am getting a little nervous about this, just about everyone thinks we’re home and dry but.........

I saw a post from a United fan suggesting that De Gea’s recent “form” had something to do with match fixing

Even if that is true and i strongly doubt that.
Conceding a few howlers against Cardiff to bag them an unfancied win, would be so suspicious I doubt he or any associates would dare risk it.

Cardiff will definitely win their last two games. That is my reckoning till they don't.

Is the sensible strategy.
I doubt our players will feel that way unfortunately, but CH certainly will. He will be aiming for 2 draws from the next 2 and hoping to nick a win against arsenal.

I'm fairly confident we'll be alright, but I am - and will continue to be - a bit nervous until Cardiff (hopefully) drop some more points. IIRC, didn't second season syndrome very nearly do for us last time we were at this level?

However, if Cardiff win their next and we lose our next CH will have to try to beat Man City........

yeah, and in theory that is a likely scenario.
But Chris will see his best chance of getting a win is to play for 0-0 and nick a goal in the last 15 (and he's right) .
He isn't going to change that approach regardless of what Cardiff do

While I do believe that Cardiff will struggle to win both their remaining games, it's the United game that concerns me most. I'm not sure I can face a nervy last day scenario, particularly if United are out of the running for a top 4 spot by that stage. However, I console myself with the thought that many of their players will be trying to put themselves in the shopwindow for a lucrative move in the summer.
