for Palace its just another game, other than Zaha who might not give it 100%. they'll be playing for professionalism and a place next season (or transfer out of the slum). Man U last game at home is similar, though with European football most certainly alive. Arsenal the other factor there have us two Europa games and Burnley away last game. I'd certainly rather be Man U in that position so will be a lot to play for.

No chance in hell. I'm on the beach and I suspect the players are to.

It would be nice to think that Palace will be professional on Saturday and do their best to win.

Could still finish above West Ham. Players are ultimately more interested in their own careers than what another unlikely result would potentially do to a rival

If you'd been asked if Cardiff would beat Fulham and Palace, you would possibly have said they could. But now they've lost to Fulham, some think they'll win at Old Trafford ? ? ?

Football doesn't work like that though, does it?

Crystal Palace beat Man City away
In the very next game they drew at home to Cardiff
We beat Crystal Palace twice
Cardiff beat us twice

You don't need to be world beaters if over the course of two games one of your opponents is on the beach having nothing to play for, and the other is imploding and struggling themselves.

Fulham were on the beach, and Cardiff still played like absolute shit. Everyone talking about the final 10 mins is also ignoring the number of sitters Mitrovic and other Fulham players missed throughout the first 80 mins. If all decent chances went in Fulham still would've beaten them, comfortably.

Not a single person suggesting that just maybe we might WIN against Manchester City? If Cardiff don’t beat Palace, is there just a chance that we might play with confidence against a City team who may have to win?

If we confirm safety this coming weekend, Dunk & Duffy will turn up to the City game still drunk.

You've seen what happens with this bunch of players once league status is secured.

And that would be the absolute least of our problems. I am amazed everyone is so confident Cardiff can't get 6 points. Unlikely yes, impossible - very much not.

I'd give them about a 5-10% chance, based on their ability vs the teams they are playing. Look at the odds of them staying up, much harsher than the chance I'm giving them.

Their win bonus will do very nicely for their summer holidays too.

Fed up with trains. Sick of the rain.
They could, but I can't see it.

Palace have better form away from home. Hodgson is as straight as a die. No way does he tell his players to underperform.

Manchester United look set to miss Champions league, however, there is still a chance they could finish Fifth. They would then go into the Group Stage of the Europa League. If they finish Sixth, I believe they would enter the Europa League at the qualifying stages - which would clash with their overseas - i.e money grabbing - tour commitments and pish off their owners. I imagine this will have been made clear to Solskjaer in no uncertain terms.

In any event, Solskjaer is Man United to his core, can't see him having any residual affection for Cardiff.

Palace players don't give much of a crap about the rivalry with us - that was obvious from our games against them. Certainly not enough to chuck a game away. Man U look awful at the moment but Ole won't want to be losing to a team that sacked him, at Old Trafford on the last game of the season. Just hope they don't beat Palace otherwise the last day will be butt-clenching unless we beat Arsenal.
