What about Arsenal against Wolves and Leicester? Do we want them to lose both, and be nearly out of the race for top 4, or win both and be almost assured of top 4? I guess the answer depends on the results of those around them.

Yeah, on balance I think a Man U win. I'll go out on a bit of a limb and say I doubt very much we'll get anything from our last game against City - and that'll be true whether they need it for the title or are already playing in flip-flops and Bermuda shorts. So Man U needing a win against Cardiff to secure a CL slot is probably our best bet.

Exactly, no brainer. I'm baffled at how people look at things sometimes.

The worse possible outcome for us is United have nothing to play for on the final day.

This is why I love football and opinions.

You could also easily say that a relaxed Man United with Solskjaer playing some youth or those players he actually wants to be there next season will be much more likely to cruise past Cardiff.

It’s only the Mourinho mould players who appear to be flouncing on purpose atm so I’d argue the opposite.

I remember West Ham with Tevez going there needing to win to stay up, and doing so as MU had nothing to play for as they'd already won the title. I'd rather they had something to play for personally.

I don't think the result will have any impact on City's final day motivation (they'll need a win either way) but we could do with United having something to play for by the time they host Cardiff.

Nah it would have to be a more clear cut case of conditional probability for me to support Utd.

I suspect, and hope, that they are embarrassed again.

yeah another one for Man U.

Need them scrapping for 4th place on 12th.
+ outside chance that City could have nothing to play for when they come to the Amex.

I do not want to watch them celebrating being champions at the Amex on our last game of the season

Shirley we're all in for United tonight, 67 points and still in the hunt, just what we all need, they'll rip Cardiff a new one if they've got a sniff of CL.

I think so. Want to see them find a bit of form and rediscover their fight before the Cardiff game.

And I'd rather Liverpool than City win the title, as unimportant as that currently feels considering the situation we find ourselves in.

Man Utd or a draw for me. Final game of the season If City know at H/T Liverpool are 3 up and have won the title, they may down tools and let Brighton get the result they need.

That would never happen in a million years. You need to get used to the fact that City are going to have us for breakfast, whether they need a result that day or not.
