You could have saved your blushes by going advanced in the Edit facility. Actually it's still grammatically correct, if you accept the modern fad for putting question marks at the end of statements.

I was at that game down the home end with a work colleague who was a huge Spurs fan. As the ball went in I started to raise my arms in celebration, then discretion being better than valour kicked in. Spent remainder of game with a silly smile on my face.

I genuinely had forgotten that Solly’s equaliser at Millwall was our last goal! And yes, it was probably hitting the post before the keeper flapped at it and should’ve technically been an OG!
