Due to the lack of palace threads on here atm I thought I’d start this one ( if it’s allowed ).
Cool. So we went down to 10 men, and still managed to score two more before half time. What went wrong for your boys, did they just not fancy it?

It's a great opportunity to play some of the reserves and a couple of kids to give them some experience.
Maybe even a couple of the ladies on the subs bench to freshen things up a bit
0-2.

Palace are crap at home, we’re crap away. I predict a poor game and a defeat for us by a single goal deficit

So who’s going ? The ones who aren’t can give credible excuses as well .

The win at the weekend for us means that a point at Palace would be a decent point - as others have said, bore and frustrate Zaha, Townsend, Schluup etc. and go from there. Never expect us to win at Selhurst and we rarely do - and yes Doogie, i will be there for the 1st time since the 5 penalties game..

Will be having a wager to cover large Palace wins. Just in case, like.

I have only done that once, the second leg of the play-off SF with some idea of insuring against the summer being totally ruined. Palace were 3-1 odds that night which was mad for a derby one-off game after the first-leg draw. I would happily have handed at least double the decent winnings back for the win and a trip to Wembley, and haven't done it again since!

I’m quietly confident , over to you .

Of course you are. Palace's wage bill is between three and four times higher than the Albion's. You have several players (Meyer, Batshuayi, Benteke, Mr Tumble) earning (lol) over £100,000 per week. We don't pay a single player that much. You've had six years accumulating Premier League money, six years of experience playing the top teams, against our one and a bit. Frankly, it's hard to imagine why you haven't managed to stabilise yourselves as a solid PL club in that time, like Watford, Leicester and Bournemouth have. Instead, you spend the first half of every single season playing like crap and hovering around the relegation zone, before your (generally quite decent) squad finally pull their fingers out and drag you up to lower mid table around February/March, at which point you start talking excitedly of sixth, seventh place, even Europe, the following season. And repeat.

Do you not ever feel like you should be more established by now? Your squad is, on paper, far better than (say) Burnley's, Newcastle's, Watford's, and should comfortably be competing with the likes of Everton and Leicester for the Best Of The Rest prize. You attract relatively decent players because of the money you're prepared to throw at them, along with a former England manager (well, several). Do you not think that you should be doing a bit better? That you're actually....failing?

Frankly, if you weren't to win on Saturday, it would be a humiliation for you, surely.

I predict that you'll win comfortably, I'd say 2 or 3 nil.

Having enjoyed a significant amount of friendly banter over the years I have to say that the recent meetings between us and you at Selhurst have been less than enjoyable so I decided a couple of years ago that this is one fixture I'll swerve.

We’ve had a lot of red cards and penalties given against us in this fixture so we must be due some dubious decisions in our favour.
