Bold Seagull
strong and stable with me, or...
Sssssshhhhh, we don't come out well on that either
Although I put that down to Murray starting instead of Andone.
Yeah, but the stats don't count our shots that ended up looking like crosses.

Does that cancel all further discussion?

No. Simply a statement of fact.![]()
Lies, damn lies and statistics. The 'zero shots on target' stat is simply untrue.
Always worth reminding everyone it's zero points for a defeat. I'm sure someone benefited from the insight.![]()
Was going just wide.Good point, Alisson tipped a shot from Locadia around the post in the second half.
Great.
But we had zero shots on target at home. So hardly a stat to shout from the rooftops.

The game was prob dire if watching from your sofa.
Being there it was great. Tense and tactical. Very absorbing. Wasn't drinking and still got well involved and fired up.
Along with their fixture v Everton.
The lowest being 2, a 'record' Man City (in Oct) share with ... ?

A great job done.
Lazy by Ian Wright to criticise CH’s approach.
Ian Wright always wants teams to go gung-ho at the top six. It's not his problem if they get trounced. Point one of this gives a more measured and realistic view from the Guardian's Nick Ames https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ue-10-talking-points-from-the-weekends-action
The point I didn't quite make on this thread but was alluding to instead of 'the media' making a big thing about our shots on target, why aren't they commenting on Liverpool's failing in the same statistic.
After all according to Transfermarket they did come as the Albion with:-
Salah - £135m
Firmino - £72m
Sane - £67.5m
Shaqiri - £22.5m
£297,000,000's worth of attacking talent.
