My best mate is horrendous to be around while he eats. He can make anything sound slurpy, it's disgusting. I've told him and he doesn't give a shit.

Sadly, they don't give a shit. Someone very close to me is exactly the same, and no matter how many times I mention it, how delicate, or in yer face piss-taking I go with it, nothing changes. I literally cannot sit opposite during meals.
