There’s an Aussie film called ‘The Club’ directed by Bruce Beresford which came out in 1980. I’m pretty sure that it used Collingwood as it’s subject matter. Anyway, a hilarious observation of Aussie Rules life - well worth watching.

May well watch that. Have to say, it's a fantastic sport to watch live... easily the best Down Under
