[Other Sport] Poor Serena

Juan Albion

Chicken Sniffer 3rd Class
Called the ref a thief after already having 2 code violations, including a coaching violation. Cost her a crucial game and she lost in straight sets to Naomi Osaka, who wins her first Grand Slam. Crazy scenes and unfair that her big win was marred by such melodramatics.

Not the first time she's shown herself to be a bad loser, although in her defence, she hasn't had much practice.

No, it was genuine. She was REALLY upset. Certainly she wouldn't choose to give up a game when 3-4 and a set down. She just did a full blown McEnroe.

Mmmm in both occsions losing, hissy fit....so it goes. LOOSER!!!!

Be graceful.

Good grief, they just started the trophy ceremony and the whole place booed. No class these Americans. No respect for Osaka who was the better player.

Thought they were booing Serena......all cheers now for the winner

Why is 'she' in the womens Tennis ?

Don't be fooled. Underlying that all that pumping of iron and huge calory intake, there's a female.

She has form in abusing officials. At US Open's alone, she had threatened to shove a ball down the throat of a lines woman and told an chair umpire that she’s ugly inside.

has anyone seen the video of her 1st ever grand slam final when she walked onto the court at the US to boos from her country folk - & then wonder why she might have such incredibly strong will (& a rather large chip on her shoulder)

edit: young serena was quite fit

That is a truly pathetic comment and not even slightly funny in any way. Why would you even bother?

I think Serena’s great, and beautiful, an unbelievable champion who has made an incredible comeback in the last year after what she went through. My other half went through a similar ordeal and I know what she went through physically and mentally and for Serena to reach a grand slam final again so soon after is quite incredible.

But she is totally in the wrong tonight. Feel for Osaka having her moment taken away.
