[Albion] Buses after game back to Withdean area?

Hi all,

Is there a bus that goes from the Amex carpark towards Patcham/Withdean area after the game and if so which number?

I know there used to be about 5 years ago but not used the buses post-match since then.

I wouldnt be certain but I know that you can get a 25 to St Peters Church then a 5 or 5 or any Metro bus going north to the bottom Tongdean Lane.

There used to be direct buses to Portslade and Shoreham etc, but they haven't run for over three years now. BG is right, get a bus to St Peter's church and change.

You can get a 25 to The Old Steine then a 27 to Withdean but that bus takes an age. I think there is a Lemon Bus which goes from Lewes Rd/Coldean Lane area to Patcham but I know nothing about it. Just seem to remember seeing it advertised in London Rd.

Would have been so much easier 8 years ago. I know that's not helpful but I've just had flashbacks to running for a number 5 with the Fatty Tax Man through the railway tunnel.

I get bus to and from Withdean with Seagull travel. Very good service

I usually walk and to be honest I get to P&R about the same time as the bus gets there!

I used to get the No 3 from Withdean to Falmer School via Coldean and Carden Ave. Pretty sure that doesn’t run any more. Not since Mr Hitler the driver made girls and boys sit on different decks of the bus.

WHAT You walk from the Amex and get there the same time as the bus Christ you must be a fast walker...

Are you saying you leave the game after the final whistle and get to the P&R at Mill Road before the buses?

Yes. I meant I get back to the P&R at about the same time as the buses.

If your going to the Withdean area, the other option would be to take the P&R bus to the top of Mill Road, then walk around the corner and down Valley Drive

I've heard some people get a Big Lemon from Ladies Mile and back after, but I don't know the exact details
